but in general i really like his art style, which is way more realistic than either yaoi or bara (albeit still more muscular than most guys, and his plotlines are wtf... but what do you expect :p). he's the guy that does this style:

 

Yeah, and that's the style I don't like. I vastly prefer well-drawn yaoi; in this regard my favourite would be Haru wo Daiteita by Nitta Youka, even if the writing is decidedly flowery. Story-wise, I really like Kaze no Yukue by Kunieda Saika, it's cute yet fairly realistic.

I was talking to my dance teacher about Queen Latifah and Missy Elliot and how they are (most likely) lesbians. And she says "really? but they are such strong black females" ummmm wtf??? So them being lesbians makes them less of a strong female? -i also don't know why race had to come up.
