REMEMBER THAT E-X-O CHOREOGRAPHED ANIMATION FINAL OF MINE? WELL HERE IT IS!!~

I know only one person wanted to see this, but I might as well just post it so y’all didn’t think I was lying~  :wohnda:

Anyway, here’s my animation Final! I ended up picking Eureurong Eureurong Eureurong Ni~  :meow:

EXO-Growl-2nd-version-exo-35353555-500-2

I was really close to picking

but I thought that the dynamic movements in Growl would be a good means of showing the ability to use the rig to its fullest potential with all the fancy antigravity footwork they do I’m it, which is what my teacher wanted~ And because this

would kill me~

And, as such, Chanyeol’s hips,

though obviously A++++ worthy, would not have even been approved, because good control of the model needs basic feet movement~    Teacher said the model cannot just stand still~ Sorry Yeollie~

(You may want to look at it in Youtube Repeat; it's best to analyze these things in a loop)
So you’ll probably notice that Mery (the RIG) is modeled after Yixing~  :ohbi:

But TBH, I sort of low-key regret it and kinda wish I chose Baekhyun instead, because, as you can see, his motions are a lot simpler and less complex than Lay’s and everyone else TBH (if you look at it in slow motion frame-by-frame you can see what I mean; his hand/arm and leg motions specifically are much softer with less precise curves)~ To put it simply, if you’re not into Animation-y terms: Baekhyun is really cute~   :wohnda:

I also thought about doing Kris, but he’s got a little too much swag with his movements and he would have probably been the hard mode if I wanted it to be accurate (again, easy to spot when slowed down; mostly his arms and head are much more fluid)~ In comparison to both, Lay has a lot more concise, sharp emphasis in his movements, which should be expected of Main Dancer Xingie TBH~  :megusta:  So I think I can settle with Lay being the good in-between.

Now I know it’s not very good and there are some inaccuracies and spasms especially noticeable in the arms and elbow joints, (and some noticeable inaccurate poses in two of the first few frames and like three almost at the very end) but I really could not be bothered to make them 100% perfect for fear of making it worse (also because I shot this video about 5-6 times and I could not be assed to keep renaming three videos every time for some tweaks to 3-4 frames; that’s just absurd!! :megusta: )~ I also screwed up with the arms the first time and had to redo the coordinates entirely (simple explanation is that it looked more or less the same on the outside, but the individual curves in her arm joints were more or less twisted out the galaxy and doing 360s when looked at in a graph! @m@)~  Again, not difficult, honestly, just time consuming and pretty boring TBH when this thing has multiple keys within 69 some odd frames that must be tweaked one by one and this RIG, I kid you not, takes 5 minutes to save every time~ Five minutes; that’s a long time to save a scene~

But compared to some of the other people in my class with longer animations... :imstupid:
This is a long-ass post for a 3 second video ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹~  :wohnda:
But anyway….yeh~ Finally done~ Thanks again for those suggestions~  :meow:

This came out really nicely, good work! Of course I would want it to be a bit longer but I prefer you to survive  :meow:

Yeah, TBH, if it was longer, it might have come out worse, since I had that whole arm issue I would have had to fix for more frames~ I might would have had to cut it~ But thanks, glad it was acceptable~ :wohnda:

This is so coooooooollllll!!!!!!!! I'm very unknowledgable on how this stuff works, but this is great! It looks like it took you quite a bit of work too, tedious work. People always seem so cool when they're in their element. This is probably a dumb question to ask but what major are you in?

Nice project and good job!

Thanks so much~ :chu:  It was tedious, but not super duper hard~ My major actually is Animation, but I lean towards 2D~  :ohbi:  Don't ask me to draw anything, tho~  :wohnda: Tragic~

Thanks again!!  :ilove:

NICE DDEONA BEBE~!!!!!!!!

XD I remember seeing your thread where you were asking for suggestions. Wished it was a bit longer but it looks really cool. You did great. Hope you do well.  :rlytearpls:

Like looking at it, it is pretty short, but any longer with the original error I originally made, it might not have turned out very well. I also don't know where would have been a good/non-awkward place to stop~  :wohnda:  Thanks, tho~  :chu: I hope so~
