Article: Dok2 cancels Japan + Busan concerts "Inner issues... all refunded"

1. [+528, -48] Yeah... it's because his tickets weren't selling. Even a concert with all of Illionaire wasn't doing well, why would he add on his own solo concerts to that.. one in Japan too. He's probably just calling it quits  rather than taking a loss.

2. [+417, -19] His tickets weren't selling at all ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ I'm studying abroad and my school had his tickets on discount. I'm not sure what he was thinking with a concert in Japan.

3. [+344, -11] Dok2's fans got axed ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

4. [+58, -4] Looks like he's canceling it rather than taking a loss. Honestly who'd even go see Dok2 in concert?

5. [+52, -3] Looks like tickets really didn't sell well ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

6. [+50, -3] I guess he's now finally realized that 70-80% of the audience at Illionaire concerts is made up of Beenzino fans

7. [+48, -3] I wonder if Illionaire would even still be around if not for Jay Park. He brought in Beenzino to make up for Jay Park and they've been holding on till now but Beenzino isn't as big as he used to be ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Dok2 and the Quiett really need to be so grateful to Beenzino and Jay Park and stop sitting around bragging about their money all the time ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

8. [+35, -1] Sorry but I don't even know what his hit track is

9. [+26, -2] He must've thought he was more popular than he is ã…‹ã…‹

10. [+20, -2] People are willing to go to Drunken Tiger, Leessang, Dynamic Duo or MC Sniper concerts, why would anyone go to Dok2's. He doesn't even have one hit track...

If the tickets werent selling in Japan, he would have just cancelled the one in Japan...but he cancelled Busan too so Imma need receipts of his tickets not selling. Dok2 and illionaire are popular enough to hold a concert in Busan so I think there is something else going on.

Well, I'm going to say something no Koreans or non-kpop fans want to hear. No other Korean act or genre will sell as well as kpop. Koreans take a lot of pride in their rappers and indie stars and put them way above in respect, but people outside of Korea will never fill arenas for them. Never going to happen. Koreans want it to happen, because they have more pride in them, but the rest of the world don't care about the pride of average Koreans. Native music industries have plenty of rappers and indie stars, so they are not paying to listen to them in a language they can't understand. Idols are something most native industries don't have, so people will pay to go see them just on sheer novelty.

Are there conflicts within the team? I hope not. He said "inner issues" so either it has to do with himself (his personal life) or there are some conflicts with his team. I hope whatever he´s dealing with will get resolved soon.
