[The Official Diet Thread] For Lazy Bitches

I can't find one of these thread so I'm just making it myself ?

Okay so here we will post our weight goals and tips and tricks to achieve it (recipes, easy workouts,etc). And we can update them and see our progress and stuff.

If you want to lose weight, it's mostly control your diet. Since it's 80% diet and 20% exercise and since I'm a fcking lazy bitch i honestly don't even work out(maybe like once a week). You can barely burn 300 calories running a mile and i can't even run half a mile so fuck working out.

 

My Tips:

First tip,

 

I haven't tried this yet but this worked for her, and it seems to work for a lot of the people in the comment too.

I'd add some ginger to the drink for even more effect ?

 

Tip 2

-Unfollow all the food accs you follow (on ig, tumblr, etc) because for me i won't be even hungry for 3 hours but whenever i see food i get hungry and want to eat right away.

-Don't have junk food around your house.

 

Tip 3

-Skip oil, use water to bake/fry instead. Or use a bit of coconut oil its better than canola/olive oil.

 

Tip 4

-Drink water and green/oolong tea.

 

Tip 5

- Replace regular milk with soy milk.

 

Tip 6

-Replace cheese with nutritional yeast.

 

Tip 7

-Replace white rice with brown rice or quinoa.

 

Tip 8

-I don't work out but when I do this is the only thing I do since it's easy

also I try to do Squat and dance but i probably do like 5 of these a day : ) ? : )

 

Tip 9

-Veggies like cucumber literally has like 0 calories ?

 

Tip 10

-Find a motivation anything and set it on your lock screen or sth to remind and motivate you overtime u look at it.

I went from 160 to 128 since January 1st and here's how I did it. Disclaimer: I don't know if everything I did was healthy so I am in no way of trying to convince anyone that is the case. Just sharing

i water fast from monday to saturday and eat a bag of pepperoni on sunday

Weight: 112 Height: 5'4

Goal: 100 pounds

(100 pounds is normal weight in my family ok)

 

I replaced cereal in the morning with blueberry and soymilk, its so much healthier and literally heaven trust

 

Also I pack veggies like cucumber, zucchini, grilled red onions, bell pepper for lunch. I either squirt lemon juice and spray some seasoning on them or just dip them in hummus

+ fruits

If I don't pack hummus my lunch is basically 10 calories like

 

sweet potatoes makes me sooo full i always get hungry at midnight and just one sweet potatoes with a glass of water makes me feel super full ok ok

 

I'm also taking hydroxycut

and I try to drink lots of water and green tea

 

Im eating less than 1000calories but I don't feel tired c:

im 5'2 and i wanna get down to like 100 or 90. im at 120-125 now or smth, i havent weighed myself recently bc i get really anxious about it. ngl, i have an account on myproana...

 

i used to starve myself regularly. when i did eat i would purge. ... now i don't have the energy to do either tbh.

 

i've been eating healthier, restricting calories and junk, but my recent change in antidepressants is making me gain so much weight anyways :\\ i'm losing the thigh gap i was starting to develop n i wanna die tbh

Weight: 100 pounds  Height: 5'2

Goal weight: 85-90 pounds

 

I'm working hard to cut out snacking from my diet!  I'm awful at snacking, and usually do it when I'm bored, so I've swapped it out for drinking water/pepsi max instead.

 

I go to spin class every Monday (7.30-8.30pm) which has a mix of both high-intensity and low-intensity exercises - I'm really enjoying it!  I've been going for almost 2 months now and I'm seeing a different regarding my strength, and also my stamina.  I'd like to start frequenting the gym as well but I'm way too lazy to even go to my induction yet!

 

My goal is to eat less than 1000 calories a day.  I've survived on less (500), but because I want to do more exercise, and upping my calorie intake means I can do more exercise.

omg i eat when im bored too

im literally always eating its so bad

so like i try to always have water w me so instead of eating id be drinking water

and i try to think am i hungry enough to eat a celery(i hate celery sooo much)? no then just don't snack on junk food

Thinking about food you don't like is such a good idea!  I might give it a try myself, I have such a bad habit for sitting playing games and just snacking to my hearts content ...

Random tips:

 

Add spice to your food, it starts up your metabolism quicker when you eat.

Don't go thirsty! Water is essential. Water retention happens when you're not drinking enough water, your body wants to keep hold of it. Also a lot of the muscle pain you feel after going to the gym is down to not drinking enough water during and after you exercise. 

Reduce the size of your plate. The same amount of food on a smaller plate makes your mind think it is eating more than if it was on a bigger plate.

Don't buy into those low fat products. Most of the time the companies will add extra sugar to replace the taste. You need fat in your diet anyway (e.g. fat soluble vitamins need fat), just not in excess.

Also a lot of the muscle pain you feel after going to the gym is down to not drinking enough water during and after you exercise. 

does your stomach ever hurt when you drink water during exercising? cuhs it happens to me a lot it gets rlly annoying ._.

I can't say that I have personally experienced that. It probably is down to what exercise you are doing and how much you are drinking.

Working out isn't just about the calories you burn while you exercise, it's about increasing your metabolism so you burn more even when you're stationary.

Question :

 

How to cut carbs ? I never, since I started dieting, managed to stay under 45% carbs more than the occasional day or without literally starving myself.

as long as you're eating healthy carbs (like brown rice and veggies) I don't think you have to cut it out :o
