So my friend went to Korea last year for an exchange program through our uni and he met this man, they became good friends and ended up getting romantically involved. Fast forward to today, he is back here in Australia and him and the man still keep in contact and are still romantically involved. Just a few days ago my friend received a text from the man and it went along the lines that they have to keep their relationship on hold because he is busy and that he is getting married. My friend is in complete shock and just told me a few hours ago, I didn't know what to say other than 'just ditch him, he's trash'. My friend agreed however he is still in shock and uncertain about it. But the most shocking thing is that the man assumed they would continue their relationship, behind his wife and said 'hopefully' they could meet up in the future in Korea and do you know what... What are your thoughts? Do you think this is wrong? I definitely think this is wrong and that my friend should just say no, block and remove him from his life. I've heard many stories like this of Korean men who are married but on the side have relationships with other men, and I've also heard that people in Korea don't believe that men can be homosexual and that it only happens in the West? That really sucks but he should for sure move on, the last thing he needs to do is be a homewrecker and with a man who has a wife and assumes that he can keep up the relationship just because it's not socially acceptable or whatever.
