What did you guys think about the MV?

A lot of people seem unsatisfied with it but I'm not sure what they were expecting .

Yeah Hayong is B:eta.

And I knew J:eta was going to be a favorite the moment I saw him.

I'am actually super undecided between F:ie, I:ota, J:eta, and G:amma.

People think that all hip-hop is energetic and fast. AB CIty has more of a cool feel.

I have no problem admitting that kpop fans scare me.

The person I had in mind sounds like that person from EXO too, but on second thought Delta does sound more the EXO person who will remain unnamed.

 

I don't mind the eyeliner. Its the painted nails that kill me.

In certain images they look really young.

But I can see Beta's age, he has laugh lines. He debuted in 2011 in a group called HITT, but left the group due to back problems. He'll have to serve his 2 years soon...like really soon, unless he still has issues with his back. That's the problem with legit oppas. They have the best bodies though

What I would love to see is a group consisting of members who have already served in the military, with the maknae being like a 89er or 90er

 

Haha, he is so unlike a typical rapper. He likes skinship the most, and lets not mention his aegyo.

Also many rappers are known for being the weakest dancers of the group but he's actually the one that creates the choreography.

Is B:eta the oldest? I'm still super beyond newbie to this group. I still have a rough time telling B:eta and G:amma apart. Aw what happened to his back? When they said C:ode had been in the military and I was rather shocked, you don't normally hear about a new group with a member who's already been in the military.

 

Yes he is and that's why I love him! Not to bash my other bias, but E.Den from LC9 (my dp), he's defiantly the weakest dancer. But my bias' are usually dancers. (I'm a dancer) So I love him already.

Yes B:eta is the oldest. He's the 87 liner.

G:amma is the tallest in the group (6'0" or 6'1"), much taller than B:eta who is the 3rd shortest (he's only 5'8"). That's the easiest way to tell them apart imo.

All I know is that he had to leave HITT because it required a lot of medical attention, but looking at him now he seems just as hyper as ever.

I'm shocked that out of all of the members C:ode is the one who has been in the military. 5zic, the guy in my dp was in the military before debut too. I think its better that way, that way they can just focus on training and don't worry about their position in the group when they're gone for 2 years.

 

F:ie's voice shocks me every time. You wouldn't think he would sound like that just by looking at him.

My bias is usually leader or main vocal for guy groups.

Oh I see. Lol yea that'll make it easier. Oh wow, I hope it healed fine (which it seems it did.) Oh wow! He's almost as old as Yunho from TVXQ! Yea he'll have to go to the military really soon, that sucks since he just redebuted. Yea I would expect I:iota or someone else, but when I first saw the group I thought C:ode would be the visual and he's not. Oh what group is he from? I agree, it defiantly seems like a better plan then wait it out and go when you're at like, your groups peak like some guys do.

 

I know! It's so deep and he almost sounds like he has a slight lisp. I usually just base my bias on personality, but I'm usually drawn to the dancers.

Something's been bothering me.

Why didn't they give H:eta any lines? I mean, he's probably the 3rd or 4th best vocal in the group but he got nothing

I think they should just give him one of J:eta "AB City EFG" lines or Iota's "Lets move it higher" line.

They don't even let him have the chance to dance in the center.

Yeah I would have expected someone less like a flower boy, but I guess it doesn't matter because they will all have to serve military time anyway.

Yeah B:eta's old, but good thing he didn't let it discourage him from debuting again.

C:ode did mention that he was the Visual in the allkpop interview, but I thought J:eta was. Maybe there's two visuals or maybe since J:eta is the maknae they didn't want to give him two titles.

I didn't notice it at first but I think you're right. I think he does have a lisp.

It bothers me to! He can obviously sing, but why didn't they give him any lines? Like, as much as I enjoy C:ode's voice, they could have cut his part in half and gave one half to C:ode and one to H:eta.

 

I know, it's weird thinking about the guys who are super flower boys like Gongchan from B1A4 or Jun from LC9 going into the military.

 

Yea I'm really glad he didn't decide to give up because of his age.

I just figured J:eta was the Visual because he's a model.

J:eta has seduced me, but I must resist because he's so damn young.

I guess maybe cause there's 9 members they didn't know how to distribute the lines properly? But, if SNSD can do it, I think the could have made it work.

 

I don't want them to think we're complainers though, but I do hope they fix that.

Lol @ Heta just happily performing in the back with no lines. When the camera does catch him for like a fraction of a second he does look lively.

The thing is Code and the others don't try to speak more English than they are capable of but Beta is in denial about his Engrish. He was like that back in the HITT days too.

Okay....so there were some rough patches.

 

'Loving You' is a bit out of their range.

B:eta has a hard time singing in the pocket. It's like he's anticipating the next part too early instead of focusing on what he's singing.

D:elta was great though. My only complaint with him is that his falsetto can be jarring. He needs to go into his head voice and not so much falsetto.

Iota's rap was superb.

 

I prefered the Love In the Ice cover

I love I:ota's rap here too. Its very passionate and I love how it builds. I love his finger. Its like Drake Hand. Iota Finger.

Hayong from 7:48-8:07 and 8:20-8:34 were really good. He and D:elta harmonized well.

However, I'm really impressed by H:eta. His voice is really stable. There's no reason for him to not have a part in AB City.

E:psilon as well. I laughed @6:45 when Epsilon side eyed whoever it was that messed the harmony. Omg they looked so pissed after that lol. I think it was C:ode because F:ie looked pissed and H:eta was side eyeing someone to the left of him. I also saw C:ode laugh micheiviously @5:49 lol.

Omg so I'm late on this but I totally agree with everything you said. The "Love and Ice" cover was much better, and omg this is probably stupid I didn't know F:ie could sing, let alone that good!! So everyone can sing/rap minus J:eta?

So unsure about this. i don't like how cutesy it is. I mean, yay H:eta finally got a line, but it's so different then their debut image and I don't like that. LC9 did that to and it just irks me so badly. It's not bad though, and the video was more of a tongue in cheek cute, if that makes sense, to me. But still, i'm a little "eh" on this song.

 

 

Oh, and does that mean the fan name is Alpha for sure?
