They need OC to make a comeback so they can earn $$$

OC is preparing for a comeback

Raina said when they performed in an event that they were working on the album

how could they afford the two seventeen songs but they can't afford to rent a room for a fanmeeting?

surely they didn't get all the money back from the money they invested in the svt comeback, but they must have got some money.. i can't help but feel pledis overestimate their poor-ness just to get pity for their artists idk

Their financial problem started way before Seventeen started getting big. I think the only one making a real profit in Pledis is Nana.

But yeah who knows maybe they're milking this to get more sales for their groups

Didn't seventeen do decent? I know a few comebacks won't undue all of their broke-ness but it must've helped.

I don't think they made that much money (lots of expenses for a 13 member groups) I'm pretty sure they've been having financial issues since 2012. 17's debut era was so cheap it was unreal (from the bad stage outfits, ugly album packaging, ugly video, lack of in-ears, many other things too). Pledis could've hired out a bigger hall for 17s first concert but I don't think they could afford the hire cost lol. I think even some of the members had jobs while they were trainees. So idk but I also feel like pledis don't want to spend money on nu'est..

do you think from 2k album sales they could afford a room for a fanmeet?

instead complaining, you should buy it legally ???

also the people dragging seventeen into this, they sold 180.000 album + sold out 2 concert in minutes and guess what
they held both their fanmeet outside too
(and they had much more people on that fanmeet too)

I always feel seventeen are unnecessarily dragged into these conversations when they've had their fair share of the financial problems/bad management but they managed to work through it (for now). Also, I think people overestimate how much kpop artists earn; there's a reason for why most artists are keen to promote abroad.

Uhm, but isn't it just a fan's joke? You take it as a legit information when nothing like this was said... Really, to assume things out of one tweet of someone who wasn't even there and can't speak Korean... It was the same place as before, it was probably chosen because of their schedule, so the fans wouldn't have to go somewhere far. The whole "Pledis is broke" thing needs to stop. Before you say so, go and watch "Overcome". Is this how cheap video looks like? Of course Pledis' situation is not the best possible, but it isn't that bad either.

Nu'est sold almost 7k albums. Not that much compared to others, but still something.

Oh, really? I saw her tweeting in Indonesian and her name is Inez Natania, so I assumed she's an international fan. Anyway looking at her responses you can see it wasn't a serious tweet and she doesn't have any inside knowledge, so let's not make an issue out of nothing and not spread false information, because it's hurting Nu'est image.
