Kim So Hye protests criticism and asks for no more hate on 'Produce 101'

 

Trainee Kim So Hye relayed her honest thoughts and cute protests on the March 11 installment of Mnet's survival program 'Produce 101.'  She got a chance to have an honest discussion, so she took this chance to address all the negative criticism targeting her for having unfair advantages on the show.

 

She said, relaying her thoughts on the unfairness of the situation, "I'm really not a daughter of Mnet.  I'm not pulling strings.  Producer Ahn Joon Young is not even married yet.  We're not related," protesting the hate when she doesn't have any authority or power in what happens on the show.

 

Also in this honest talk session, trainee Park Ha Yi said, "In the 'Irony' stage, I was the center, not Se Jung, but she got more attention," causing laughter at her cute complaint.

 

In the later ranking revealed on the show, Kim So Hye got eighth place after which she said, "I am sorry that I'm unable to be really happy on broadcast in front of the people who chose me and trusted in me because I got a high ranking despite my talent level and that I can't feel honored because of my [insufficient] skill level.  I will practice really hard now in order to feel honored with my talent level in the future, so please do not hate me and please watch over me from now on.  Thank you."

Well she got more attention than her because Hayi's rap was awful during that perf, even worse than Sohye's singing so no wonder.

i feel so bad for her... she didn't ask for any of this, she probably never expected to do this well, and because of her innocent and hard-working appeal, she gets so much hate and people think she is cheating :-(

Honestly I wish she could at least have the chance to be happy that she's ranking well.

 

Nothing is her fault and if anything, she's working super hard like the other girls to make sure she doesn't drag the group down and is working hard on improving her skills.

 

She started from rock bottom and I find that admirable that she's not giving up

Sehun gets bashed and, while he has absolutely no singing ability, he's a good dancer but he's still called talentless. Sohye, on top of not having any singing ability, can't dance to save her life. I have no ill feelings towards her, she's trying, but I seriously hope she doesn't get in the group and I don't understand the people voting for her. There are a lot of talented trainees on that show, and people vote Sohye out of pity and because she gets screentime. This is bullsh*t.
