He is not wrong, it is racist, but his missing the point. If white people can vote for white actors than it`s only fair to have as much black members in the Academy to vote for black actors. And not just black but members of any other ethnic group that`s not white are needed.

I honestly don't even understand what he's saying/what he means.

he basically doesn't believe that if the Oscar commitee includes more black people it would result in more nominations for Black actors and actresses

Racism : a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another.

Please, Henry, I like you and I understand what you're saying, but this will be in no way racist.

Assuming that Black committee members will ALL automatically vote for Black actors/actresses is far-stretched and kind of degrading. As if we're not able to see true talent when we see it, but we'll have to chose our "own" to make us feel better.

People just want more representation of ALL minorities (Hispanics, Asians ...) and maybe, you and everyone else will see that people that we consider great actors/actresses are maybe only great because of standards set by pre-existing criteria chosen by the "majority".

Those that want things to stay the same and those that are "annoyed with black people" will support his statement. Those that want change probably won't.  People aren't saying to diversify the panel to "give away" awards to people of their same ethnic background, they desire to diversify the panel to provide more opportunities for a wider range of movies to be considered in the first place.

I've said this before.  A movie with an all white cast is just considered a movie in whatever genre it happens to be in.  A movie with an all ethnic class will get labeled as an ethnic movie and be put in a box.  For example, a comedy with an all black cast is consider a black/urban/African American comedy, a comedy with an all white cast is just considered a comedy.  When it's time for nominations, those ethnic movies will all be placed in one collective box to choose from, while none ethnic movies are judged based on the genre they are in.

I could go a lot deeper into it but it'd be too long of a read.

Easy for him to say when there are literally 100 copies of him walking around Hollywood...but the black actors? Not so much...

Most of you will still watch Justice League and Batman vs Superman. I know I will he's telling the truth where is the lie.

Some may watch the film and like it, and still consider the actor's opinion as problematic. They're not mutually exclusive.
