Yeah, the chorus is my least fave part as well, but I like the rest of the song.

 

 

As expected, the visual effects for the music video is pretty top notch.

LDH's fantasy intros and corny English narration give me a degree of second hand embarrassment and I think that part of the budget can be invested in finding different music producers and the like. But I can skip those parts anyway and love LDH as they are, as well (which I'm learning to do).

 

I share the opinion of some users here that the chorus isn't so likeable. Okay, maybe in Japanese the "iki" makes sense, but us Westerns can think about Rikki Tikki Tavi, for example, and that can be very misleading? The rest of the song is very nice. I actually expected the dance routine to include faster moves and even acrobatics, but I'm not disappointed by the video and my jaw was on the floor because of.....

 

The fashion!! Whoever has come up with so fantastic ideas deserves a medal. Come on, the video looks like a catwalk, Sandaime J Soul Brothers Autumn-Winter 2016!

 

Also I loved Naoki's dance routine. I wish that man could get a little bit more of screentime, though :'(

I cringe a tad bit at these types of intros they do as well. I more often end up skipping the intros anyways because I'm impatient for the music to start.

In that Jpop confession thread, there was an user who felt second-hand embarrassment towards EXILE and Arashi and I asked her why, but didn't reply. Later, I pushed myself to think a little bit..... to discover that I also don't like those corny intros and they give me second-embarrassment too. And in spite of that EXILE are great for me!

Maybe it's like EXILE's 24Karats GOLD SOUL, a pseudo-complete-MV uploaded to YouTube that actually lasts around 10 minutes, most of them unnecessary parts???

No I agree the chorus was the only part I liked and ELLY's rapping in Shokichi's Anytime was much better than this.

but at the end they had the 'walking over to our destiny' part, so I assume the pv is really over

as long as they don't cut the song~

 

I like these parts, it makes great gifs   and generally they don't have the weird narrator voicing over these parts (?) lol

 

I have some other fav groups whose agency give them super cheap MVs my heart hurts, so I won't complain about LDH giving JSB expensive looking MVs XD

A lot of times, they just feel a bit out of place as well. Like, if they are trying to set up a narrative for a story that the mv is trying to portray, that's a bit understandable. But in other cases, it just feels so unnecessary.

I flinched a bit when it started up (I hadn't heard one in the LDH PVs I'd seen before) but for the duration I was willing to listen to it it wasn't as terribad as the beginning of the MV for Exo's MAMA. >.>;;  Is this release related to the big LDH project that has a manga component, though?
