I don't mind it so much. But I can see why. And so I'm kind of curious what kind of video game characters that other people viewed negatively. So post your picks, reasons can range from their design, how they play, play against, character plot/personality, whatever the case. Here are my most dislike characters. Chris Redfield - Resident Evil 6 I'm sure there are more disliked Resident Evil characters out there, But I really hated how his character has evolved by the time RE6 came around. The thing that annoyed me was just how it made no sense in his change of mood when acting around certain characters, SPOILERS ahead During one segment in Chris's campaign, him, Piers, and a team of soldiers are caught in a trap. Chris and Peirs are the only survivors, while the rest of team are killed and turned into mutated monsters. And from there he get's emotionally wreck...... WTF, how does he get wrecked over a couple of barely named npc characters? Compare to RE5 where he apparently lost his friend/partner Jill Valentine, and doesn't even show the same amount of turmoil in comparison. Chris and Jill have known each other for years, so I don't understand why such a difference in emotions. Get your priorities straight man. Marie Rose - Dead or Alive 5 I'm not against youthful-looking characters. They are a staple of many games out there, including numerous Japanese games. What I'm against, is the sexualization of such characters, especially when they look like kids. DOA is known for their unapologetic sexy female characters, but at the very least they look like grown women. Having Marie added, just looked completely out of place compare to the rest of DOA female roster. Because of her design, she panders to Japan's trend of lolicon based characters. And with that pandering, she has become one of the most popular characters in DOA. And if that wasn't bad enough, she's become quite prominent in DOAX3's promotion. A game that involves putting very revealing swimwear on characters. Seriously, fuck you Japan and your lolicon fetish. Her profile may say 18, but she looks 12. Legit quit the game only 2-3 hours in because i couldn't stand him. Don't care how much people love that game. I'm never playing it. Also Seth from Street Fighter 4.
