It's obvious many won't buy what she says but it's not like people listen to 2NE1 (or BigBang's) music because of their perfect, pristine image so I don't think it will affect sales that much and the issue will be "settled". Bom's mentality is way too fragile for what she would face upon coming back and the lack of support isn't helping. I'm not saying she should quit music by any means but fading into a more obscure indie-esque scene would suit her far better. She just is not made for this idol life. She just is not made for this idol life. bom def has moments of weakness (excessive plastic surgery, among other things) but i actually think she has a pretty strong mentality she seems to be very persistent (evidenced by the fact she kept auditioning for yg despite being rejected like 3 times, also her showing up at MAMA 2015) the lack of support is concerning however, especially coming from yg, who went from a heartfelt, insightful letter to essentially saying "you're on ya own kid" in a matter of months that has a lot to do with the fact that yg is VERY inconsistent, considering he went to the ends of the earth to help GD clear his name when his scandal broke out but yeah i agree she shouldn't quit music Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If the ballad was related with her depression would be even better like tablo ft lee sora masterpiece "home". Put some famous rapper or even her usual duo gd&top do some rap break with an r&b song like in BB first albums. That would work too. Or even better give her a mini album and fuck the world. I don't think she needs media exposure not even going to music shows without 2ne1. She can slay digital all by herself and the fandom is big enough to go to concerts and such. The fact that she knows that her teammates are always there to support her and the fact that she knows that Blackjacks are always waiting Spring to rise again became the pillar of strength she needs to stand up on the stage again. She is well loved and supported by her "family" in YG (just like how Big Bang members became her escort when she went back to Korea). It's not like Bom doesn't know that she would get hated for her appearance. The fact that she is willing to go back up to stage implies she is ready to face them. She already broke out of the dungeon in 2015 by performing at MAMA, implying that she is still here and would be here to stay. Hopefully, soon, she would stand up on the stage again. Once for being called angel by Lee Sora [so i guess she gives a lot but doesn't receive a lot] 2nd because Seho's parents said they were there for her and she can always talk to them...3rd because she got a bruise...The first two show a lot of depression, maybe she feels she isn't good enough despite all the love from fans. There was an old interview of Harry Styles who cried because there was one comment that was shitting on him but thousands of We love you comments. I hope she doesn't start accepting the hate otherwise she'd turn unemotional like him. Though she can be badass and sexy as well espesh with I AM THE BEST..I Love You..Oh lord.
