I wonder many of koreans did lasik surgeries but they still wear glasses, I think I saw him in glasses not that long ago, right?

 

While he unfortunately didn't win first place, His album did have high sells.

I think this is misleading - he didn't have high sell, opposite his digital and physical sales were quite low.

 

No idea where they heard these rumors and Apink is not Cube but still can we at least hope to TM...

All glasses he wears are fake lenses  Mere accessories. Only glasses we've seen him wear at are real was in Big Bang Doc days.

I really do hope we see TM, a summer comeback would be neat. I also hope we see some more solos this year, even if it's just G.Na and Hyuna.

 

I think people still lump APink together, so put their rumors together as well.

I asked Nicey on main thread to update sales album because I want to see absolute figures because this places don't tell much. And I remember absolute figures were quite low, lowyer than Seobie or Jun...

 

Anyway we have something to look forward to in the summer even if it is not confirmed.

All posts I saw looked like that twitter posts I linked. I would rather go with those, since they are the popular statement. Even with these figures he was lower than Yoseob, I'm not sure with JunHyung, I didn't really watch that debut, as I didn't like any of the music. He also went against Big Bang, BTS, the solo guy from Infinite, the Girl from Secret, and Elsie (EunJung(spelling) from T-Ara. Hyosung (I think that's the girl from secret?) and Elsie both didn't really do too hot, but the other 3 really was a strong comb :/

So these are figures about solo albums.

 

I have no idea when that photo was made, but seems like ages ago.

So what are all the number standing for? Hyunseung had higher numbers then Junhyung in one section, and wasn't that far off in 2 others. Plus it's a little unfair to compare any member to Yoseob, him being so famous in the Idol world. Also Yoseob released when Beast was at their peak (From what I heart, that was 2011-2012 time) so that would help them too.  Also, why isn't Dongwoon's album in there, I've always heard he did good, and that it was 'his year'.

And I wanna ask, why can't we judge by charts too? It's ok only when their #1? Hyunseung was #4 on Gaon for May on album with only one week of promoting with the actual album released. Just because he didn't live up to Yoseob's line, doesn't mean he failed, or flopped. He did really good imo, with what he had to work with. By the looks of the chart, he stayed on par with JunHyung. It's like comparing 'YeY's album to 'Fictions' or 'Good Luck'. We all know YeY wasn't up to their norm standard. Sadly, all other beast members solos won't come near Yoseobs solo, imo of course.

As Nicey said I only cut solo albums, there are information about group albums too including TM.

So first section is downloads, then streaming, then hanteo chart (only hanteo stores) and GAON chart (Combines the statistics of artists’ album sales in the three major charts (Hanteo, Hottracks & Synnara) while also taking into account those sold in supermarkets in Korea and overseas stores. The numbers recorded in the Gaon Chart are the number of albums shipped. Yeah, we should'nt compare them. My point was to say that even for solo debut (and solos are usually not high) unfortunately his figures were not high.

 

Ji, I wasn't comparing them. That's just a cap showing a part of the entire beast sales chart that I worked hard on making since 2014. No album of dongwoon's is on it because it only comprises of Korean albums since I have no means to check oricon properly.

 

Ultimately, such chart wasn't made to compare each member but for informational purposes ONLY. Ofc, it's a good source for comparison and that's up to you. Just to let you know that chart also showed ki kwang's debut album as AJ which showed 4k albums sold iirc based on hanteo.

Ah I see. I was slightly upset cuz it's really unfair to compare the poor guy, he worked so hard on it. Looking at the chart, he keeps around the same level as Junhyung, and he was 4th on the albums in may for Gaon when he was going against BTS and Big Bang, there was like 3 or 4 solo artist then too, so he did good as far as I thought. Solo acts only do well when it's the #1 of the group i've noticed. When it's popularity or acting, its DooJoon, but in the music world, Yoseob's #1 so he overshadows the other members, which is sad sometimes because they all are busting with talent and hard work.  Sometimes I wonder if Hyunseung was properly promoted, or had more time, if he would of done better. Everyone who've I seen respond to the album says its really good, and while I know it's not everyones taste, I'm sad it didn't get a chance in his 2 weeks to shine. 

I'm sorry if I sounded to harsh, I'll be the first to say I'm defensive of him right now, when he's brought up, it's mixed reactions now, and people now complain about him, when just last year they was singing his praises about the same habits. Now I'm just defensive cuz I'm so tired of the bad comments, I'm so sick of seeing 'Beast is gunna disband'. I got spoiled with Beast having no scandels...

I was listening his album just the other day when I went shopping so I thought that it is totally not public friendly - I mean not for typical general korean netizens. Maybe because I love music shows such as Immortal song 2, King of Mask singer and watch them regularly I generally know what kind of songs they prefer - heartful ballads and it seems they typically prefer voices that a bit husky(?). So that is why Park Hyo Shin or Naul are always high on charts. Among idols I don't really have in mind many besides Kyuhyun - both his albums were successful because of his vocals and because all of them are ballads.

So what I am saying is that older people would prefer ballads and younger now seems in love with hip hop. So r&b is not music genre that is popular now.

 

Anyway to cheer you up - I know we should not compare them but I noticed anyway that his MV is now 5 533 185 views (9 months old), Jun MV is 3 599 085 views (2 years ago) and Seobi MV is 5 642 510 views (3 years ago). I am sure his MV views will be higher than Seobie till may 7.

That's true, 2 of them you couldn't play on radio or in stores  I've notice a lot of people complain about the nasally voices, which I've seen ppl say Hyunseung has that. Truthfully, I don't like R&B, I like a good beat, I normally hate ballads, but I listen to Beasts sometimes, and a few from other artist. But Hyunseung's voice is very soothing and moving for me, when I listen to 'come out' it's very soothing, like he's right there comforting me. I know that's only my opinion, but he has a good voice none the less, I thought at least Break Up with him and Ma First would be popular enough. People are even mad at him that he didn't have JunHyung produce his album. I'm tired of all this hating, and disbandment rumors.

If beast is disbanding, why can't we enjoy the last 8 months till they do without scandles and rumors?

speaking of solos, would it be comforting as well if a yeobo says she actually likes hyunseung's solo album more than yoseob's? tbh i didnt like Ma First at the first place, it was too loud for my liking, but i totally see that this is his style, it suits him the best. the song started to haunt me after watching th live performances and it has grew on me. i checked out the whole album and i enjoyed the rest of it except for dirty jokes and i love you. he has a really good voice and i hope people can actually recognize that, its just that its not easy for the audience to embrace this kind of genre, which explained the sales. same case for junhyung's solo actually, the solo album i like the most. 

 

and people have been saying that it's because of the lack of promos. i dont know how things works in korea but imo it's not about promoting. if i dont like the song it means i dont like the songs, there's no use to shove it down people's throats. if brainwashing is what they usually do in korea, then fine. 

I still see a lot of comments of people just finding out he released a solo last year. People flat out didn't know, and same with JunHyungs. People don't like it, then they don't, but they need to hear it to judge 

And I really should. I see comments randomly, or a title, and I go and read it though I should stay the hell away. Plus there seems to be a few people stirring the pot for 'Cube Stans', blaming us for the lack of success for 4Minute (the post on onehallyu was just one of quiet afew) so it's overall just drama.

IA. They just dont rly like Hyunseung's song. And promotion was indeed very bad. So....  It's such a pity because his songs are so good. How many beautiful kpop songs out there got buried like this just because the title track is not well-loved?  (Beast's Yet, Junhyung's Slow, CLC's Hey-Yo!........sorry biased lol)

So many B tracks get overlooked and buried cuz the title trap 'wasn't their taste'. When an album comes out, I always listen to every song on it (even if it's the first 20 secs) and then rate it so I know which ones I like.

Hmmm. Maybe they tried then they realized its not public friendly enough hence the two/three weeks of promo? I dont want to sound like im defending cube, i know nothing about the new cube. Thats just how i thought.

 

I will listen to other tracks from MY because im a fan of Beast. If im just a random person i'd probably skip the entire album. Unfortunately they cant promote all side tracks. So it kinda proves that a good title track is the key to good sales. People are not fond of YeY and they didnt give other tracks on the album a try. Its usually the fandom who pushes up the sales.

 

I am sad to see that. We used to be a drama-free family and that made me proud.

Maybe, even though Break Up With Him should of been promoted the same if not more than Ma First, but It only got 1 minute stages. That was a very good one to use. Every group's fandom in Cube atm are complaining about the lack of promotion, and the few public promos Hyunseung got (Like a bus) was done by his fanclub. It's becoming the fans job more than anything it seems.

 

I usually always like Beast albums, and while I like YeY, I got bored of it very quickly, and I don't think it was really to par of their usual title tracks. Gotta go to work was better tbh. Plus some of the complaints I heard before 2015 korean comeback was it always being break up/broken up with songs. I saw some posts (Tumblr I think?) saying that the Japanese tracks are refreshing and wishing Beast would come back with a korean song like them. While Yey was still broken up with kinda song, it had a very lively background, but it seems to not hit well. Personally I wanna see songs like 'One' and 'Shock' (Yes I wanna lil old school beast back >_<) and 'Stay Young Forever' & 'I Think I Love You' was very fun songs. Image a song's audio like 'Good Luck' with lyrics like 'One' 

 

I know   When I first joined, I never-to-rarely saw anything bad, and when it was, it was people mad that Trouble Maker exist, cuz it 'brought on hate' for Hyuna, and 'ruined his beast image' for Hyunseung. Other than that, everyone was happy, supported each other, and didn't cause drama. Starting 2014 I started seeing some in house drama, but 2015 it seemed to manifest, and by looking at 2016, it's going to get even worse. I hope neither 4Minute or Beast disband/member leave (one, I really like those groups  ) or there might be bigger drama. I just want us to go back to the well behaved fandoms again. Cube, you're at fault for lack of United Cube 

 

Edit: Just remembered to put this in here, but I hope Kikwang does more composing into the albums, I really like history and Oh Honey, and I think he uses his members voices very well.

I prefer Kikwangs composing over Junhyungs. it would be awesome if he could compose b2st next album 

2015, I prefer Kikwangs over JunHyungs, but 2014, I still liked Good Luck and 12:30 over History. But even 'Oh Honey' isn't title track material, though to me, it's on par of YeY

 

Kikwang's songs can't be title tracks though. I love his songs but songs like that won't do well as a title track. Maybe if he composes different kind of songs. Good Luck and 12:30 were great title tracks but Cube has to refuse Junhyung's songs if they are like YeY. You can't make a song like that the title track and expect it to do well. It's better to get a song from an outside composer than to make a song like YeY the title track. 

I Agree, YeY to me, is what their b-tracks usually par as. I still like the song, but it was no Good Luck topper

FYI. I loved Coffeine! Because of Coffeine I noticed Seobie and because of him I finally paid attention to Beast and finally to Seung.

Caffeine, it was very interesting. While I do like Yoseob's voice and song, it never made my playlist. I listen to it here and there, but I tend to play more exciting beats (Hyunseung's Ma First is really up my alley for what songs I like, same with 4Minute's 'Hate' and 'Crazy', Yezi's 'Cider' Nada's solo mixtape ect.)

Yes old songs were great, but their music has to grow as they do. Itd be awkward if they are still doing songs like bad girl and beautiful in their late 20's. I think thats why they have stopped singing bad girl in their concert hahah yes it took me a while to like YeY, but their jp songs have always been good. Tho the 2015 ones are very different and im still taking my time to fully absorb them.

I dont understand the hate on TM. he became the sexy icon of Beast and that actually brought in a lot of fans oh is it? I wasnt around during 2014 so idk what happened, i hope it wasnt that bad. The early stage was wonderful because we support each other, and we are famous for that. I actually miss that

Awwww is that how you became a b2uty? I love Caffeine too. Its just that the other tracks sounded the same. I was hoping to see something different like Junhyung's and Hyunseung's.

I think Break up with him would deffo be better public. But I still Like Ma First~ They both have same play counts, so does 'It's Me'. I want him to release a single of the full version of that intro xD

 

I don't really want most their old songs, Just shock. and not necessary that theme. Just the instrument part, and some of the styling. Some of their JP singles (TBH and All is in U) took me awhile to like, while others (Stay Young Forever, One, Hands Up, Can't wait to love you) having me jamming to them every day. The Last Word and One Day (both Korean and Japanese) are amazing ballads, and I Think I Love You is just so cute! I got the Ordinary album (digital) only cuz of Oh Honey. I had to add 'One day' cuz I couldn't afford their physical (I can only buy international, there is no where near me that sells albums) and I have no job, so parents wont let me buy international. I have to buy my albums digital on iTunes. Hyunseung's 'MY' is the only physical album I have, got it with my tax returns 

 

TM is more beloved today than it was this time 2012. Hyuna faced a lot of criticism for her role in it, which upset 4Nias, and Hyunseung suddenly was a 'bad boy' and got hate for it, upsetting B2uties. Fandoms exchanged a few punches, cooled off when Hyuna became the 'Gangnam Style' Girl, and for their 2013 comeback, everyone seem to fall in love with it and no fandom punch (never was a war really, just mad at each others groups for 'hurting their idol' stuff) and they even banned together to protect them from their smaller hate club. But Yes, they both brought in new fans who liked this side better than their group image (Like Me, I only found beast cuz of Hyunseung in TM (2011). That's why I've always been complete Hyunseung and never really had a 2nd bias in beast. I learned to like Beast because I want to support Hyunseung, and even now, I'll always support Beast (even if I'm not a rightful B2uty) to support Hyunseung (and the other boys work hard and deserve support too). 

 

My loyalty to Hyunseung is untouched in these 4 years. No male has come 100th of a mile close to his spot, and never will 

I'm starting to get bored (I know  ) of Good life's lyrics. It does seem repeated theme. I'd like some more different themes (like Gotta go to work!) in their work.

Kikwang's deffo R&B influenced, but look at Hyunseung, he molded each of his songs into what he really likes. While he is R&B influenced too, there was still some different genre in there.

 

I don't think Yoseob will ever sound 'not Beast' like how Hyunseung didn't want to. And even though JunHyung was different, it still had a B-Track feel of beasts for me. Good Life songs are very much 'Beast' songs to me xD I think that's why Hyunseung went to Rado for his album, and a few other composers. He wanted a very different sound. And I don't think Good Life would of ever composed a song like 'Ma First' XD

*high 5* i want a full version of It's Me as well, the 1 min+ is just not enough. i think i know what type of music you're into, you'll definitely enjoy Guess Who when it comes out   i have this habit of collecting physical albums so i usually will buy it, but i bought Junhyung's one on itunes cause i don't feel like having the photobook. i want to get the physical copy of MY and Chemistry when i go to korea again. they have fabulous pictures inside 

 

i think TM has improved with Now, and it is my fave TM era. it feels awkward when i look at Troublemaker again after seeing Now, probably because  they looked so young back then lol. Im glad that things got better in 2013, seriously we dont need those dramas in our fandom. bad boy hahaha, i love the concept and i love how TM brings out their sexy and mature side   and of course, bring in so many wonderful b2uties 

 

i'd say yoseob took the safe path with his solo, and it was easy for fans to accept. if he does rock genre i would be so happy, but at the same time some fans might not like it so it really depends on one's preference. i'm a fan of Good Life production so i'd like them to stay this way hehe. but i know they will not stop experimenting, let's see if they'll have something different in the next album   as for Kikwang, sorry to say that History is one of my least fave songs. if he's really releasing a solo album, i hope there will be more So Hot and less History lol. that's just my preference 

I got the 'MY' album when Mnet was having their 1000 signed albums, so I managed to get mine signed   My real care is the music, so digital works fine for me.

 

TM had improved so much in both mvs, stage, chemistry, so on. I look forward to their next work (if could would hurry up and get them back together) But the drama between fandoms seem to worked themselves out for the most part, so it's not a problem anymore. 

 

He took a very safe path imo, which helped him in sales a lot. I'm sure if he experimented like the other 2 did, he would prob just be higher by a few (Since Yoseob is the popular one, he'll still outsell). Dongwoon was a safe path too, because it deffo had a 'beast member' feel and I think it could of been successful in Korea if in was a Korean album, since it matches the path liked. I Like though how both JunHyung and Hyunseung wanted something different to broaden their image.

 

Didn't Kikwang do oh honey too? I know he has history and so hot. So Hot is nice, it's good a good theme, History, while I like it, I wouldn't want a whole solo around it xD But I think he's got good potential, and it's fresh air.

 wow that's awesome! signed album is precious   i'm the old school kind of person, i like holding the physical ones in my hand and arrange them nicely, even though i dont play the CDs anymore after i ripped the audio out hehehe.

 

i hope the rumor of them having a cb this year is legit. actually i dont care how long it will takes, as long as they return   oh yes im so agree with you on that. dongwoon's didnt really excite me (not bc he's not my bias) but i guess it's because it fits the japanese market. imo 2Hyun did well 

 

yes he did, oh honey is such a sweet tune. i just love it when the members actually penned the songs and it doesnt matter if i like it or not. it adds up the value on their music 

I don't have a computer that has a CD drive so CDs are useless to me XD (don't have my own car yet either, parents don't really like kpop...) But I had to get the signed one, being from my Ultimate bias (seriously, where can I sign up for his squad. #goals) But other than that, I keep to iTunes. Though I wanna get Hyuna's A Talk album, cuz the box set is really cute.

 

I so badly want TM D; It being a summer one would be amazing. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but I frickin want this comeback, I've been waiting since late nov. 2013 D;

 

I liked Yoseob's album, and by like I mean I liked 2 songs enough to rake up 15 play counts on them lol. Junhyung's, even though I think it was really clever, and I like the fact he did something new (I brought his album just for that), but it really wasn't my thing. Flower really just didn't hit me, the only song I 'liked' was Caffeine which is on Yoseobs >.< Dongwoon's I didn't like at all sadly. I tried, cuz you know, support the homies, but yeah...just didn't appeal to me. Even some Beast songs that all B2uties rave about, don't appeal to me, like Freeze or Say No. Until Time, Midnight Sun album was my ultimate, and Time album is now tied with it, even though it's got an + for being released on my 21st birthday lol.

 

Oh Honey is the only dang reason I brought the iTunes album (Cuz One Day is only physical, I had to be a bad girl to get that on itunes  ). The way he worked all the members voices, I love how the 'uh uh uh un un uh oh' kind of part wasn't just one member (even though Hyunseung killed it just saying) and tbh, I could take an album designed around like that song.

i listen to songs from my ipod like 90% of the time, but like i said earlier, i collect physical albums, plus korean albums often come with pretty packaging, i had to buy them   it's like how people collects vinyl and cassettes, i dont belong to that generation but you get the idea. i can see myself flipping through my collections 20 years later LOL  How did you manage to get the signed album? Were they selling it or you won it from a contest?

 

i know. we've been waiting forever.   mean while i'll just watch the live videos all over again.

 

 

 

it's interesting to hear how fans don't like certain songs (though i might get slapped lol.) cause most of the time i see things like omg i love all their songs!!!11!1!, this is the best album ever!!!1!!!11, etc, while i skip certain songs when they come on, or i dont import them into my ipod at all haha. its not just b2st, it's the same for other artists that i listen to. i just hope that wont makes me look like im not loyal to them or whatsoever.

I never really had a lot of allowance to get CDs when I was younger, and by the time I did make an allowance, iTunes was around. Even from my young teen days, I have like 10 CDs that belong to me. Now a days, I have no means of playing a CD, I have no CD drive, so I can't import any CDs. I don't have any iPods either, it's all my computer or Samsung Galaxy. So if I buy an album, it's purely for the packaging, or support. For me, supporting on iTunes is the best I can do, and then it's only a handful of groups I do that for. To spend 25-35 dollars on an album just for it's looks is too much for me, when I have so many other wants, and even some needs to save up for. With that being said, I'd always buy Hyunseung's solo albums, if he has anymore.

 

I got his album from mnet or mwave? They was holding a deal where to first the first 1000 albums brought got signed personally by Hyunseung, and every 10th album got a personal signed photocard. I was in the 300s marker for buying the album, and my photocard is signed. Idk if it was the every 10th one, cuz I never seen an normal photocard before, so i dunno if you get a 2nd one that's signed different or what, but Mine is signed in white ink, with his signature, his Hangul name, and a heart. It took a while to get here, but boy it was worth the wait.

 

I'm always careful on saying 'Oh I don't really like that song' or 'Oh I really don't connect to that idol' when it comes to Beast, cuz I don't want to offend anyone, be forced to explain myself (I just don't, thats really ok), or people to treat me differently. With most their albums, I only listen to 1 or 2 songs on it. All until 2015, I've always liked the title track, and 1 b-track, at least. But there is always one song I don't like, usually the ballad, and everyone's all over it. I just normally don't like slow songs. The only time I'll draw so a slow song (not always liking it, but giving it chances after the first) is if it's highlight is Hyunseung, Hyuna or JiHyun, of Song Ji Eun. Rest, I'll give it 1 listen, if I don't like, I don't give it a 2nd try. Only reason I like 12:30 as much as I do is because Hyunseung having the highlight, I think his voice suits it well, his raspy voice goes well with ballad/base combo. I Think that's why I like Come Out and I Love You so much off his mini album. Hyuna and JiHyun have a lovely singing voice that draws you in, and I'll always like Song Ji Eun's ballads after 'Don't Look At Me Like That'. You just can't like everything someone puts out though, it's only human.

 

I Like So Hot (though it didn't make it to my phone) but Oh Honey is just magic.

I only watched the video now. Yep that nocturnal life style of his was never good in first place. It affects your daily life and health. Or could it be insomnia like one said?

 

I think I can say 'I understand him' though cuz I do exactly what he does. We don't have insomnia, we just can't sleep until a certain time. Like seriously, I can't do anything before 12pm Because I can not for the life of me, sleep before 2:30-3 am. If I don't do anything the night before, I'm worse, being able to sleep after 5am. Last Night, I went to be at 6:34am. The sun was rising when I was crashing. And yes, I fell asleep during an 4 hour shift, standing up at a counter, running 5 cash registers at once, at 4 in the afternoon. And I've been like that since I was 10 lol, where I had to go to bed at 9 pm, I'd stare at the ceiling until 2 am.

Honestly, I think he's very stressed. He's showing all the symptoms of anxiety minus being jumpy or the obv of having an anxiety attack in public. Stress plays hard with your body, particularly your ability to fall asleep.

I agree though, people need to quit judging him for every stupid little thing.

I feel you. He's gaining a lot of anti's now a days, and it's sad cuz they never get to actually know him. Like he's actually a wonderful human being (Like how I reminded that he's human, silly haters) that you're losing out on. These panns and everything is making him sound 10x worse that what he really is.

 

I'm a proud Hyunseung Shielded, since that's what we are if we defend him when people nitpick him for closing his eyes for 4 frickin seconds.

same thats why i go crazy over them when i started to make money, and of course, to support the musicians i like. oh i guess that depends on locations as well. im in asia so its easier for me to get korean albums, but its hard for me to get hold of the US/UK albums that i want. they are either expensive or i cant find them in the local stores.

oh i'd say in general kpop fandom. i should restrain from saying stuff like that too hahhaa. i just like to hear different opinions   i love how you put that. i love them but i wouldnt like every songs they made or every selcas they took. 

 

yes, he dozed off. but i dont see the need of making a fuss out of it. sometimes i don't like the strange stuff he did, but i still love him for who he is . you can criticize an idol but it'd be nice if you keep it to yourself, one little spark can burn down a forest in kpop fandom 

I live in the East coast of the US, and only one store in my entire state sells Kpop albums. But If I could ever afford college, I would like to go to school to Teach English in different culture. Preferably Korea cuz I want to experience it outside of the kpop world, and really the only way to do so is to go there, and I've always wanted to teach, so why not combine? I really enjoy Korean culture (the few things I can read about and understand, you kinda have to go there to really know and like it) and I realllllly love their food (mmmm drooling already), and it's the best way to learn the language too. I mayyyy try to go to a Beast fanmeeting if I can meet a certain someone (cough cough you know who). Maybe I should bring him an American present, what should I get him? 

I have it in a picture frame (outside the glass) that I have next to my bed, and his album is on the stand above my bed. I would put up the poster too, but this year or next, the walls are going to get painted, and I don't want to put the poster up, then take it down, since it would ruin it.

 

I'm always blurt out my opinion, even if I know it's not good...but I'm just keeping it real    I always give kpop groups a try, and I have to say, the two boy groups that everyone goes crazy over now, that have the huge trending fandom (not saying their names cuz I don't want their fans on this thread bashing me  ) I gave a listen to them, and they're hugely overrated. At least with exo, I got it, since they're songs are catchy, but these 2015 trend boy groups are just flat.

 

Honestly I'm surprised everyone turned on him (supposedly, I've seen 99% support on this matter, only a few trolls) like they did for dozing off. I mean, he's human, and you can't control your body when you reach your end point. those panns was awful translated comments (all the ppl who commented on the trans seems to support Hyunseung), and I'm shocked I'm not seeing more people concerned on why he was dozing off in t he first place, or why all members of Beast looked like zombies. Even JunHyung and Dongwoon, who did the most talking, talked so dead compared to their normal reactions. I wanted to fall asleep from them and the MC's talking watching the video, and I wasn't even awake for an hour yet.  They are only doing this to add more fuel to the fire. If this was GD, everyone would be mad at YG and "He's just a human" defense, and no one would counter it. Same if it was Yoseob, or DooJoon. It's only because of the witch hunt on him at the moment. I'm just hoping that he doesn't pass out one day, for all his 'fans' to see. Prob see an article on pann "Jang Hyunseung Passes out, fans upset at his unprofessional behavior' which the top comment being "Oppa should do x and x so he can be running at 100% because that is his job. How dare he pass out during promotion time where he is working 20 our of 24 hours a day in another country, like he should just tough it out. None of the other members passed out. How many of you pass out during your 8 hour shift?"

 

Anyways, on a lighter note. Hyunseung follows like 3 different artists fan pages on his Instagram, and watches his own fan pages on his Instagram. What if, to improve his English skills, he read his English fan sites, and this thread was one of them?

I've been full of homework from uni. But i'm back lol.

I'm a 90's kid, so I love R&B. The reason why I love BEAST so much it's because they have a lot of this genre in their albums. Hyunseung's album is my fave, because of that. It's soooo him. And it makes me so giddy and happy when I listen to it :B

oh yes do it! TEFL teachers are in great demand in Asia. Visit Korea is prob the ultimate goal for all kpop fans but seriously, once you've been to Korea you wouldn't want to leave, even my non-kpopper friends love it i'm not quite a foodie but i enjoy their food alot!

 

Attend their FM or BS is another goal, but i heard that it's really hard to get tickets and it only limits to the fanclub members. anyone here knows how to get hold of the ticket?

 

it has something to do with the fan's age, no? all these new groups are younger than me and i dont find interest in them lol. i used to follow alot of the trending groups and Beast is the only kpop group i follow now.

While I'm heavily involved in the kpop world (though not so much in boy groups, I like Girl Groups more, though the innocent style isn't for me, I never could get into SNSD, Gfriend, April, or Lovelyz. But I have another side of me completely in love with culture. I love culture and history of countries, and Korea reallllly has my interest.  Being a teacher is one of the only basic job I can get in Korea, and I do want to live there at least for a year or two.

 

You have to buy the B2uty package they sell once a year, last year it was like $65, and last year it just opened up for international fans. But if you're not an official B2uty (buying your place) you cannot go to any FM or BSs. When you buy the B2uty package, it has some kind of card or something (like a pass?) that gives you an opportunity to go to the fan events. I only want to go to a fanmeeting for the group, but what I truly want is to go to a fan signing where I can go up to Hyunseung, maybe he'll let me hug him.

 

I don't think they have anything to do with age, since Noona fans or Aunt fans can go. It's more most older groups arn't involved with the newer groups, but they do exist. Just need the pass to that fanclub.

 

I can fall asleep anywhere, anytime. I just love my sleep. I also can fall asleep standing up with my eyes opened, but I'm completely out of it. My mind also wonders, and I daze off a lot. My mind just doesn't stay if I'm not too pressed.

 

I think those fans won a draw if they buy certain things to the 'guess who' package? I don't remember if it's all or certain things. But kind of like the 'Can't Wait to Love You' deal where you had to buy all the members and the group album (7 vers.) of the single to enter a drawing.

 

I don't know if him showing support for his current company's trainiees is a 'Imma gunna stay' kind of statement. I think it's more he remembers those days, and he wants to be supportive.

If that's the case, I'm so worried for him. He's underattack by netizens right now, why would he unfollow people that he's super close with. Is it his way of protecting them?

He still followed the AOMG producer when I checked, but he's unfollowed a few other friends too. But he unfollowed  his sister and his school best friend in Sept when all this started. So it may be to the point he's started to protect the people he cares about. 

Btw Hyuna's liked his post even after unfollowing him. He'll prob still support her.
