I actually have the Five Pillars memorized. I've been taught the religion since I was little and been studying in all-muslim school until Junior High. I've always been taught not to doubt about my religion, to believe in Allah, to do Salah five times a day and do everything that's been told I must do as a muslim. I don't know if everything I've been taught just isn't enough or is it because of something else but I just can't find the hidayah or feeling that I actually belong to this religion. I am aware that I have to do what's wajib but I... I don't know how to explain this, but I just can't bring myself to. Not because I'm doubting this religion because in my opinion even if I weren't born in a Muslim family, I would still think that this religion is beautiful. I just think that, why am I doing all these if I don't even have my heart in this religion? I'm really bad at explaining and I might end up saying things I didn't meant about this but my point is rather that feeling I belong in this religion, I'm more to believing in only Allah and that's it. What I want to ask is, why do you choose Islam as your religion? I want to know about all your opinions and views. I thing your family just told you to do things without saying why. You need to read the Quran and the story of Prophet SAW , then you can understand why you belong in this religion and know the reasons for doing what you're doing,you will understand why billions of people follow him. I converted To Islam due to the large amount of scientific and linguistic miracles, things such as mentioning the big bang,expanding universe,etc all hundreds of years before it was known 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
