winaitip 1,456
Now it's time to down grade or literally install it.I found out that some one said that there'as method use to root the phone by install customed firmware. And sometime they can use this to update real stock firmware(of course nobody try with Fonepad7 yet) So I tryDownload stock firmware form ASUS in my case I download the "UL-K01N-WW-4.0.1.0-user.zip" just to feel like I start from the bottom and feell humble(bad joke forget it). I unzup this to get the (IFWI, IFWI DNX, fastboot.img) then download "IntelAndroid-FBRL" can't remember where i get this maybe from this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57543871&postcount=1download according to the link is tutorial then unzip it. OK so we now have 1. stock firmware of Fonepad 7 FE171CG 2. a folder of IntelAndroid-FBRL with 2 folder and 1 .bat file.3. close xfstk or any program that use or connect to the phone4. turn your phone into recovery mode connect to your PC5. inside folder that you extract ntelAndroid-FBRL, run or double click "launcher.bat"6. it will ask you to type "ACCEPT" yes ACCEPT with all big letter. So do it and you will be prompt with option to choose7 . pick T2 hit enter and look at your phone and wait till it reboot to android bot logo and Vampirefo Venue executing menu8. keep waiting till there're menu which let you choose appear.9. copy your stock firmware to you microSD change its name to K01N_SDUPDATE.zip and insert it into your phone10. select "toggle signature verification" once(dont know why I pick this maybe it sound like it will let me do OTA)11. then select "choose zip from external SD" 12..after this there will be a menu which only 1 long line with a name of your newly put file ready for you to pick, so pick it. .. now 13. wait till it finish install, select "back" and then and it will reboot (it so fast at this stage I can't remember it clearly)after that your fone is back

arafatx 0
I got same problem mentioned by @NTTDOCOMO This is the log error that I got. At the end of the link, it said "Timeout to detect the device, make sure to charge up your phone before flashing" but honestly, my tab is fully charged (the green battery is full). When I click Begin download, the phone just turn off itself (from the USB mode). I have tried this like more than 7 times. xfstklog_Sun_Jun_19_13-06-16_2016.txt 13:05:46 - XFSTK Downloader API 1.5.1 Copyright © 2013 Intel Corporation 13:05:46 - fwdnx -- C:/Users/Lenovo/Desktop/flash/UL-K01N-WW-4.0.1.0-user/aaa/FE171CG_CRAK_SIGNED_CLVp_FWR_DnX_20.38.bin 13:05:46 - arafatx 0
Anyone here can help? I worked as a programmer in a private company and in my pe.rsonal opinion, this is the hardest ASUS phone to repair from unbricked. I cannot figured it out how to repair the broken partition! I came here after searching for this solutions for more than 2 months after my device got bricked! So, if anyone here willing to fix this, my paypal account is ready to pay.
