J.K. Rowling has revealed that Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is the first movie in a new trilogy.

The author of the Harry Potter series has revealed that the spin-off novel-turned-film starring Eddie Redmayne is the first of three feature length adventures set in her own wizard world.

The writer - whose original saga was brought to life in eight movies on the big screen - made the revelation on Twitter on Tuesday after a fan suggested her other spin-off project, the London stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child , would be adapted into a movie.

I'm guessing Redmayne will play someone working in the magical world of Harry Potter... I think this gives the franchise a new perspective.
