Li Bingbing to Join "The Expendables" Female Spin-off

A spin-off movie of "The Expendables" franchise, following the original hard-core action-style but featuring female characters, is set to start shooting this May. And there is a good chance that Chinese actress Li Bingbing will join the cast.

 

It's been reported that the actress is now negotiating with the production team about her schedule.

Li Bingbing has risen to international fame after winning the "Best Asian Actress award" in the 2000 Singapore International Film Festival.

 

The star then began working with many international projects. She was invited to play in "The Expendables 3" but passed the opportunity for the part in "Resident Evil: Retribution."

 

Actress Naomi Watts and Kate Beckinsale are set to star in the movie, which will still be directed by Sylvester Stallone.
