Would you want to live forever/extend your lifespan if it was possible?

Based on the technology in this video, would you be open to living forever/extending your life span?

 

 

I know some people may be happy to do this, because if we live much longer/achieve immortality, technology/medicine will eventually become more advanced, that would help people such as scientists to continue research, and astronauts to travel much further in space. In terms of overpopulation...yeah that is an issue, but hopefully people would be able to go to other planets.

 

On the other hand, most religious people say its humans playing God. We can't run away from death. It is something that every living thing must go through. It goes against the laws of nature. We may not appreciate life as we do now. 

 

Hmm. I dunno...it'd be pretty cool to hang out with my future generations...

No way... that makes life so meaningless. Love would always just come and go, and I'd see my friends and family pass away by my eyes. Nothing lasts forever, but the illusion of love does.

To live forever oh hell no, that kind of life just seems so lonely... having to see your family pass away and you can't be with them, knowing that every friend you make will always wind up leaving you no matter how long the friendship is... such a "come and go" life just seems so miserable.
