Police in the Russian capital Moscow have arrested a woman on suspicion of murdering a child after she was found apparently carrying a severed head.

 

The woman, believed to be the victim's nanny, is suspected of killing the child before setting fire to its parents' apartment.

 

CCTV appears to show the woman, dressed in a hijab, walking near a metro station with a head in her hands.

 

A police officer intercepts and wrestles her to the ground.

 

The suspect has been placed in psychiatric care to determine whether she is capable of understanding her actions, the Moscow Investigative Committee said in a statement (in Russian).

 

A criminal investigation was launched after the discovery of the remains of a child aged three to four, whose body bore traces of a violent death, in a charred flat on Narodnoye Opolcheniye Street in north-western Moscow, it added.

 

"According to preliminary information, the child's nanny, a citizen of one of the Central Asian states born in 1977, waited for the parents and elder child to leave the flat and then, for reasons not established, murdered the infant, set fire to the flat and left the scene," it added in the statement.

Well she was this kids nanny and she was on drugs, she cut off kids head and set the flat on fire. <.< At least thats what is  written in my country news, no comments about  islam.

Wtf that is so messed up I can't even begin to comprehend it

like... is it of religious significance? And don't come at me with "it's not islam" stuff... because... let's face it... beheading and Islamic extremists seem to go hand in hand... it's not a coincidence.... it must be being interpreted from somewhere within the religion... of all the things they could do, beheading seems to pop up often.

No, it isn't weird, it's simply a way of identifying someone. 

Well, they can just said woman. I believe that if she was a Christian or something else, they probably won't write Christian woman.  

 

That was my POV. I am still young, so I have no idea how the world runs. :imstupid:

muslim woman still a woman. i never see a news with title "a christian woman" "a chinesee woman" "an arab woman" "an indian woman" "a muslim woman" in my country. because they are all woman and they live in our country no matter their race and their religion.

 

But. What if you said Christian woman. Or Jewish woman. It just feel weird, tbh. It feels like separating the Muslims from others. My POV is like that.

it's like other extremist from other religion. but the different is islam got more spotlight when some minority did sometime bad.

 

example, a couple army bought bts light stick to ikon concert. or some army mention bts on section comment on youtube then netizens accusing to all army  are rude.

 

it's like a fandom has a immature fans who did something bad then it taint all the fandom

 

tell me if my example are not acceptable.

This situation has nothing to with her religion. Plenty of people of varying creeds have done just as abhorrent crimes but their religious affiliation is never emphasized because no one cares.

A muslim does something gross and horrific- religiously motivated, totally not insane or mentally disturbed or just a plain horrific murderer

A person who is not muslim- mentally ill, actions motivated by personal grievances etc etc.

 

As to the person saying "Allah Akbar", that is not evidence of it being religion fuelled. It's a common phrase among muslims which terrorists stole and sullied so now it can't even be said in public.
