Miyami 642
If you know any decent PC repair shop in your area, it might be worth going there so they can check it. I know it will cost money but this laptop has such great specs that imo it would be worth it because this GPU really deserves to run flawlessly.. They can advice you better than a couple of OH members who don't know the exact situation... I would feel terrible if these driver things messed up your pc so much that it wouldn't work any more. Even if it is a hardware failure like a GPU malfunction or something, then you have warranty since it hasn't even been a year. Salieri 4,473
I rolled my drivers back & it just made it worse ;____; im so hurt. It hasn't even been a year and my PC is trashed. I'm just gonna update them again. You say it hasn't been a year yet? Do you have warranty because I know MSI should have provided you one, contact them or the store retailer you bought it from and tell then your problem. They should be able to diagnose your problem. The issue I am thinking it could be your bios needing update (that's what I needed before I could play at 'good' state' but the other problem could be your motherboard that is overheating EDIT: i just did a quick search on MSI website and https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GE60-2QE-Apache-Pro.html#down-bios this should solve it as the bios was modified last month. Assuming it is the GE60 2QE APACHE PRO Edited May 3, 2016 by Neo Galaxy
rainbowyuffie 0
I need graphics card recommendations. It's to play games like Sims 3 on high settings, most of the EPs. I currently have an AMD Radeon 7770 (I think, it's definitely in the 7700 series) and it's super laggy!

If all fails, my warranty ends in 2017, so i'll hopefully be able to get it fixed.

I currently have an AMD Radeon 7770 (I think, it's definitely in the 7700 series) and it's super laggy! For decent entry level and since you'll just play sims 3, you can start to buy Nvidia GTX 950 or AMD Radeon R7 360. Doesn't matter what brand you choose since they are all the same. Most of them are factory overclocked already so just choose what brand is the cheapest. Use this guide so you would know the hierarchy of graphics cards. If just sims 3 for a decent card to play it on high I'd reccomened the Nvivida GTX 750 or above that threshold But for higher games I say go for the Nvivida 970/ 960 - 70 for more future proof since it is more for VR starting point but 60 isn't bad Thank you both! I've run my avast and it detected nothing It's a Video card problem i think, if it has display with different colors and columns it means the problem is in your Video card. If you have a spare PC or an onboard graphics card, try that and see if it boots up. Worst case is you have to replace your Video card
Step 192
So I'm building my first PC, everything seemed to be going okay, but when I finished wiring everything up and started it up, my graphics card only started spinning for a couple of seconds then stopped, also, nothing showed up on my monitor, all the lights are on my graphics card and mother board were on, I'm just not sure where I went wrong OTL So I took out my graphics cards and tried again, then suddenly, the monitor came on! Is it an issue with my graphics card? I don't think it's a compatibility issue cause I double checked to see if I was going to have any problems on PC Part Picker and the only problem it came out for me was that it wasn't sure if my fan and case were compatible. Here's my list http://pcpartpicker.com/list/P4WTWX IDK what I'm doing wrong

I don't have another machine on me OTL It might be the graphics card, though the fans do move and for like 3 seconds and the lights do switch on so I'm not so sure, I wish there was a way to test it OTL I'm thinking that might be the issue though cause I triple checked everything and I'm sure I did it right. Don't they all come with a warrenty or gurantee when your purchase a part? Pretty sure MSI has a warrenty on their products or even the place where you bought it. Contact them to find out. Since everything is working besides your GPU. Plus if it was the fan that wasnt compatiable than your screen would have worked cause you weren't running a high intensive program and would have blown out it. More than sure that it's the card that its at fault with your system.. Edited July 10, 2016 by Neo Galaxy

Oh yeah, I'm positive it's not my fan cause it was running fine I was just saying that that was the only thing where I wasn't assured it was compatible by PCPartPicker it wasn't compatible so I know everything is fine compatibility wise, and yeah it does have a warranty, I'll contact them and see what they say, it might just be that I really hope it is cause this has been killing me

None of these two, i'm not interested on hack someone pc or something related, just want to know how someone is capable to know everything what a person is doing in a pc or in her/his house through internet or whatever that person uses. vocalmonster 3,603
Sure. What problem is there? I hadn't received an email in over a year. I realized it was because my drive was full so I cleared space and now can receive emails but the old emails haven't arrived yet. I thought they would be stored in the cloud

I thought they would be stored in the cloud You may want to check if their in different folders or even try syncing your old emails. Though like you stated it could just have been deleted due to your capacity of emails. If you are still unsure. I'd contact Alphabet (google parent company about it) just in case. Though I'm supurised by this as Google gives 10 GB of storage. Also sort out your filter for your emails just in case it might have been lost or jumbled in the pile you'd were sent after the delete. Alternative you can also check your trash folder just in case Edited August 25, 2016 by Neo Galaxy
