I don't understand how people are not into Hoon!

It took me like 5 sec into my first Winner video to fall for him 

I hope he gets more recognition in the future, especially for his choreography!

Being a life-long dancer, I would be crushed if my choreography went unacknowledged like Hoon's.

One thing that definitely makes me happy is that the other 4 never miss a chance to praise him for it.

Well its a slightly complicated story. Its linked to my "discovery" of Kpop and Winner. 

Simple answer is Hoon trying to impress Seungri with his wife cosplay.

I just thought it was adorable.

And I dunno... I thought he was really good-looking (which oddly does not seem to be a first reaction to Hoon)

oh, I see. I really liked that part as well, cos while other members were so awkward around Big Bang, I liked how he made them laugh and felt comfortable.

Winner TV was what made me a Winner fan and I was determined to find a bias (cos otherwise I'm not as involved in a group), so I finally decided at the winter olympics episode that I will stan Hoon, haha. In my case, I fell for his personality first before his looks. 

 

Also, does being a dancer yourself made you lean towards Hoon out of all the members? Cos I used to be a dancer myself and I seem to  just like dancers more.

Today I received Seunghoon's card and polaroid from the official Inner Circle Kit and I feel like I'm starting a collection. There's still a lot missing, but I've never cared for photocards of any other idol, so I kind of want to own all of Seunghoon's cards now, haha 

What about you guys? You can share as well, since there's nothing going on in Hoon's land

I'm happy to keep the thread live as long as I have time, although, I'll have to go on hiatus till mid April soon. 

It's so cool that there's the video, you can definitely tell that it's him, haha

The magazine looks really cool, the same one Hoon was carrying in the airport, yeah? 

I don't have the whole Inner Circle kit though, just the cards, cos I bought them, haha 

Thanks, hopefully I will trade the book, although I'm not in a hurry.

 

As for hiatus, yeah, I have uni stuff, so ideally I should be on hiatus, but I'll probably still post, cos I know myself and I can't stay away from the Internet for so long, haha

I love those gifs! I'm starting to slowly collect Hoon gifs .....

 

Mhhhmmm I don't think it made me lean towards Hoon in particular for that reason, more Winner in general.

I actually tend to like WOT5 pretty equally, I just have a thing for underdogs like Hoon and Jinwoo LOL

I leaned towards Hoon for his personality - I love 4D type personalities.

After watching my first Winner video (Winner TV ep. 6), I actually went and watched Win before watching anything else.

Obviously, a lot of people were bashing them saying they can't dance or they weren't coordinated etc. and I was just like WTFFFF?! HOW CAN U NOT FIND THIS AMAZING?!!

As much as I like flashy dances, I much prefer they be flashy in a more lyrical/emotive fashion.

I still get pissed off about them (and Hoon) not getting a lot of credit for their Classroom dance. 

I hated that everyone was just like "oh yeah they don't have teamwork etc" but I was like omfg Hoon and the others pretty much changed their choreography to incluuuuude Mino without just being like "yeah your not gonna dance".

I thought it was really mature of Hoon to do that.

I see. We're very similar actually in terms of liking underdogs and less flashy dancing, haha

I don't dance anymore, but did when I was younger. I went to a music school and choreography was my major, so everything from classical to traditional, modern, renaissance, other country's traditional dances, etc.. Me and my friends used to make up choreographies to pop songs and dance in front of the school as well, makes me miss my school days and wish we had pictures or videos from that time   what about you?

Underdogs are the way to go!

I watched it before (poor Hoon only got one direct question  ) but I really wanted the photobook and the little greeting card (ended up getting Kang Leader which I don't mind obv - I have not clue what it says though lol. I must learn Korean at some point - I hate waiting around for Eng Subs/translations    )

 

 

ugh! Im so jealous of countries where you can specialize in the arts! I wouldv'e loved to do something similar. Do you mind me asking where you live.... wait do live in Korea? 

I've been dancing (formally) since I was 8 (which makes it like almost 15 years now? ya I'm part of the semi-noona circle lol).

Its traditional South Indian dance style called Bharatanatyam. In its purist form its a combination of dance and drama. In shorter pieces, it tends can a purely dance, purely drama/acting, or a combination.

Anyway, I graduated from a dance institute and made, what is considered to be, a formal début. I now dance with a profession non-profit dance company (its voluntary but I get to do a lot events and shows - almost a parallel career).

Do you still dance for fun or choreograph for other people?

I went to high school in Lithuania, but I went to a regular high school and music school was my extra curriculum activity, although there were high schools where you could specialise in arts, which is pretty cool. But I dropped out of music school after 8 years when I only had 1 year left cos I couldn't take it anymore, haha. Too much pressure when being examined and getting good grades, besides I had to play piano and go to music classes and attend the school on Saturdays as well. 

It's so cool that you're actually dancing for a living, and the dance sounds very interesting. I know people, who love dancing and went to uni for dancing, but dropped out, cos they lost interest in it when it became not just a hobby for them anymore. Not everyone can do it for so long and for a living I guess.

I only dance in clubs now, lol. Although, it would be interesting to go to some dance studio for fun, but I don't think I could find something that I would enjoy.

No, I was born there but I moved to UK when I was 18. 

Oh, I got it wrong then, haha. Well, as long as you're still dancing while having another job, it's really cool.

 

 

To keep it relevant. Also, I wonder why Hoon's face is still swollen, hope it's just weight gain..
