He is so open and honest! I'm glad he's doing better now and happier with his new band members around him. It sounds like he was really sad and lost right after he left YG. 

 

What he said about meeting with Yang CEO and WINNER really made me tear up a little. So glad they got to spend some time together.

Well Nammie completely annihilated his IG this time 😂  I'm assuming because of the hate bandwagon brought on by his interview (sigh)

I found this to be an interesting read...

 

"It's not that I find Taehyun (or South Club) unique or special, but rather that I find him interesting especially when it comes to what we international fans get to see of Koreans. There seems a very specific image that they feed us and I don't much care for it but I don't have the energy to dig deeper and find the good shit. 

I once saw a criticism of Taehyun about how he posts "weird" things as though he thinks he's a bigger star than he is. It's an idea I've seen repeated a lot that you have to be at a certain level before you can experiment or be yourself if that self is considered something outside of the "norm". And people state it as though that should be the accepted way of things. You see it with music too when fans want their faves to put out public friendly songs until they reach a level where they can release and do whatever they want and have people eat it up. Anyway, it's a good business strategy so I won't knock and if the music's good the music's good, but I think it's cool as hell when people just commit to what they like. 

Taehyun has said before that, more than anything else, he does music because it makes him happy and with his actions I can believe him because it matches up with so many of his statements in the past. There's acknowledgment that it's not what the public wants to hear right now, that he may always be niche, but he did it anyway because it's what he wants and it's what he likes. I'm curious about a guy who would make those choices. 

I wonder where and how far this band is going to go without everything laid out for them. It's unpredictable. There will be ups and downs, but any up will be a surprise, one that hits us hard because there are no guarantees for people in their position. We really have no clue what we're in for in the future because while hard work is a factor, it's really chance and luck that determines these things. We have no clue how Taehyun will grow, change, and adapt, musically and personally, in order to manage it all and that's exciting (also nerve-wracking since we don't know if it will all be worth it in the end). 

Through all of it I hope he continues to experiment on and off stage (do what he likes plus dabble in what interests him) and confidently figure himself out rather than project an image or only show the sides of himself that other people will accept until he's big enough to be more honest."

I think i know why i tend to like slow song more, maybe because i became older?lol..i like all hardbeat songs or uptempo songs, but at the end the songs that i will listen the most is slow song. First Hug Me and now NO.

 

Same - Hug Me and No are the ones I listen to the most!
