I relate to this so much OTL... Well I am normally emotional too so not that part but still!

I get this, I feel so much for him. I'm so happy that he is doing better right now and hope he can maintain.

I grew up with a clinically depressed mom and a bipolar sister and take the role of caretaker and cheerleader in their lives quite a lot.

It's a roller coaster LOL!

Just realized that it has been a year since YG announced Taehyun was leaving Winner on November 25th rlytearpls.png

...and that Taehyun has kept his promise from his letter on IG on November 26th, 2016

"Hello. This is Nam Tae Hyun.

I'm sorry to have such disappointing news

for everyone who's loved me.

There were a lot of things that happened

within this time, which could be defined as short or long.

I was very happy to have received such great love

as Nam Tae Hyun of WINNER.

We came to this decision after a long meeting,

but I haven't changed my mind about doing good music.

I'll return with good music and projects.

Stay healthy in this cold weather.

I sincerely thank everyone who's supported me.

Posted by Nam Tae Hyun."

What a year! So much has happened and I am so grateful Taehyun hasn't given up even when it got rough.

So grateful he is still pursuing his music and his dreams!

Hoping this next year hold even more surprises and that he continues to be happy and healthy

This was by far the most painful and emotional time for ICs... other than everything else that happened to Winner. I made a decision that i won't post on twitter or here after that... but... Here I am posting away... lol

I wrote this a while ago... but This is what i really feel about the whole situation And my reply to a person who's no longer following NTH.

Yes, I still support WOT4 + Namtae and though I felt a bit "betrayed", for a lack of a better word, I still understood why he decided to leave. I know there is a division between ICs since that time and there are a lot of people that still follow WOT4 or Namtae (from afar) but as it has been said, he not only left because of "musical differences" but also because of his mental health issue.

We've known Nammie since 2013(on WIN) and was drawn to him because of his no shit attitude and his boldness. But moving on as Winner, around end of 2014, he again started to get cyber bullied by knetz and once they decided to hate on him, they never left him alone and tormented him to the point where he became MORE depressed than he already was.

In My honest opinion, Namtae got the most hated on by the "public/netizen" even as a Winner member. From the "he was rude when paying the parking valet" and "He's rude to his fans" to making fun of his acting to the point where he felt the need to Apologize for "making the drama get hate" and said he did not want to make people around him be "sorry" anymore.

I think he might've felt like he was giving Winner a hard time when all this is thanks to Knetz and a certain fandom's organized and unthinkable cyber bullying of Winner.

As Namtae said and as some might have already known, he suffers from bipolar disorder, which I personally know and understand from having a family member with that disorder. It is not something you can heal by saying get over it... At one moment you can be Sooo happy and outgoing and in another moment you're depressed and sad and angry dont want to deal with the world.

And imagine dealing with that as an idol (where your every movement is controlled and you have to perform when you just want to stay at home under the blanket). It's not something to get over easily and that is why he's getting help from a therapist to help him.

In my honest opinion, both Winner and Namtae suffered. I'm not gonna talk about who suffered more or less cuz WE DONT KNOW as we are not in their shoes. we can only make judgement by looking from the outside.

It’s evident that after they separated ways, Both WOT4 And Namtae seem happier! There is no tension or uneasy feeling. Living in a place where your wavelength does not match and where the things you used to feel like you wanted, you dont want anymore (because we're human and our thoughts, beliefs and wants changes every second of the day)... And if they can live better apart than together, we really have no say in the matter.(except as fans where we can share our sadness or opinions of the situation and not create a story for ourselves w/out really knowing what the feelings b/w W &NTH is now)

Over all, I just wanted to say thank you for all those times you were part of the IC fandom and hope everything you do and wish for comes true.

And I want to say A HUGE Thank you for All ICs/Amps that never left NTH's side... It's been one hella' a ride but we're still here and continuing to enjoy an amazing human w/ an amazing talent... chuplz.png

Thank you for this!

You are very insightful and eloquent and have laid out in words everything I have thought and felt about this situation.

It still all stings a little and I am tempted to think of the "what ifs" but after all the turbulence it looks like these two separate paths that were taken will ultimately lead to the best outcome for both Winner and Namtae.

Although I can't quite quit hoping that someday, after any hurts on both sides have faded to the backgroud, they can collaborate on some projects.

I miss Yoon and Taehyun vocals together rlytearpls.png
