Miley Cyrus - A mess that will stay famous for being a mess and will never make anything quality. The Weeknd - An interesting new Urban act bringing some well needed diversity to the mainstream. I don't like much of his work yet personally (it's boring) but I respect what he's doing. Rihanna - My feelings about Rihanna change by a day to day basis. Sometimes I hate her and think she does the dumbest and most thirsty shit possible and other days I think she's hilarious and ballsy. Her music has the same kind of inconsistency for me. Adele - Annoying and fat. Lorde - I don't know if she's extremely pretentious or if she's actually doing something really interesting. I think we have to give her more time to find out herself. I no longer follow her because she's getting problematic these days. Miley Cyrus - Too much tongue. The weeknd - Who? Rihanna - I like her voice and her attitude, but sometimes her music isn't my taste. I still respect her. Adele - The one with songs that are often overrated and overplayed. I think she's kinda pretentious and fake at times but I have w lot of respect for her for breaking away from Disney and creating an image and identity for herself. That is extremely hard to do. And I think her singing technique has greatly improved since Heart Attack, so that's good.Miley Cyrus - has some talent but keeps relying on shock value and gimmicks even though it's not 2013 anymore and that kind of hype around her has died down. I don't think she's an evil horrible bitch, I actually think she seems pretty nice and genuine, but I don't like her cultural appropriation but well what can ya do The Weeknd - been a fan since before he blew up, it's been great to see him evolve his sound without losing his original touch. I like his hair but I also think he mostly wears it that way as part of his image, he didn't start wearing it like that until he blew up and got with a major label. Rihanna - problematic fave. I have the utmost respect for her and the people working behind her for maintaining a 10+ year career at the top, that is a HUGE achievement for a female singer. She remains relevant because she always stays just ahead of what trendy in music and fashion and constantly evolves her style. Pop singers everywhere could learn from her and her career. She could retire now and leave behind a massive legacy and she's not even 30. Adele - majorly talented, deserves all the success. Brought something back to pop music that had been missing. All that needs to be said. Lorde - talented but pretentious. Don't follow her closely but it seems like her hype has mostly died down since her royals era ended.
