For those of you who may be in Seoul and want to know how to register:

 

 

1. Date              : 2/3(FRI) 7:30 PM KST~

2. Location             : Shinchon Uplex 12F Jade Hall (Closed Fansign)

3. Sale Period       :  2/1(WED) 6 PM KST ~ While supplies last

4. Where to Buy          : M2U Records Shinchon (☎ 02-3143-3946/7)

5. How to Participate        :  100   people who buy mini album on first come, first served basis

6. Process         : Seats will be assigned at the time of purchase, 

                         bring seating ticket on 2/3 FRI, please arrive/take your seat by 7PM.

***Special Note : 1 signing per person ***

 

* Purchase by proxy is possible. Proxy representative cannot be a substitute.

(i.e. can buy for another person, but that person has to go to the fansigning and can't  be replaced)

* Fansigning album cannot be returned or exchanged.

K-fan sent me this:

 

 

He went to the store where Sira's fansigning will be held this morning (2/2 in Korea). They seemed to have sold about 20 copies since sales opened yesterday. K-fan is #25. He said there have been many cases of rookies not being able to sell 100 copies, so it's uncertain if Sira's fansigning will be full....

 

 

BUT!.. there's still the remainder of today and all of tomorrow, until the fansigning, so hopefully more people will turn up!

170203 1st Fansigning in Shinchon - Part 1

 

Idk sure if any int'l fans went? Didn't see any fanccounts on Twitter...

 

Since Sira doesn't have a fancafe (thanks, ChungChun Music OTL), K-fans mainly use her minor gallery on DC Inside instead. My Korean is still really bad, so not all fanaccounts will be complete and/or accurate.... Will translate and summarize as best as I can.

 

• Around 56 people attended [x] /////sooo happy it was more than 50!!! T^T

(Director EumHyang knew about her/was her professor and gave her the opportunity??)

 

Fan gave Sira his/her phone so she could take a selca. Sira said it's the same app she uses (Foodie) and all the pictures she uploaded on Instagram were taken with it.

 

Fan came to the fansigning in a rush, so the letter he/she wrote was messy/hard to read. Sira said she could read it all (with no problem). She's way way way prettier in person.

I told Sira he was super nervous because it was my first fansigning. Sira said it was her first fansigning, too. She was more nervous about it than her debut stage.

 

She asked me how old I am and I said XX years old.

My K-fan friend sent me these pics and shared his experience! ^^

 

Context:

I guess I could call him a ChungChun Music stan?

...He's a fan of their artists, but thinks they're bad at managing/promoting them tho lolll 

He met Sira by chance, [last year]. Often attends ChungChun Music [events]

 

"When Sira saw me, she said she remembered meeting me at the Fresh Girls show last year. She also told me she received the letter I gave her, through her manager at a Fresh Girls event in January. I didn't think she would remember me, but I was so grateful she did.

 

Last year, she didn't have any makeup and was wearing a mask so I didn't know it (i.e. how pretty is)... But seeing her now, she's so pretty! She also seemed very excited being able to meet with fans up close for the first time since debuting. Her outfit, hair, and makeup were well-prepared.

 

The fansigning went on for a while because she took pictures with fans. 56 fans went and, since the signing went on for 2 hours, it felt really long. Some groups have 100 people fansigns, but they're only an hour long."

 

 

 

It also happened to be his birthday yesterday! What awesome timing haha

Sira's mini album debuted at #52 on Gaon's Album Chart for the third week of January (2017.01.15 - 2017.01.21). Don't know how the exact number of copies, the monthly chart for January isn't up yet.

Finally got around to joining the official thread of my favourite vocalist on P101. Hello everyone!

 

I was always looking out for Sira's debut, and worried that as a older artist and soloist, she isn't quite in the same playing field as the idols, but i hope she finds success in her own way.

 

In Korea, lots of adults listen to and buy music but don't stan idols the way the fan community does. So i hope that with her godly vocals, people who like her will share and she can continue growing and getting her voice and music out there

Can i also say that i was disappointed when i first heard Don't Wanna Forget because the song was boring to me.   But then i listened to I Wanna Say/Wanna Tell You and ITSP, and GOD THEY'RE AMAZING, insta-buy on iTunes

Yeah, her voice sounds absolutely amazing, but the song itself is sadly another forgettable K-ballad >_< Wish they gave a better ballad to work with... It's a bit of a letdown, considering how long we had to wait. I Wanna Say/Wanna Tell You has more replay value. Sira would probably enjoy promoting it more since she wrote it, too. 

 

 

It's kind of premature to be looking forward to her comeback, when she's still promoting but... I hope Sira does something like Seungyeon's "Guilty" in the future. With Sira's voice and her interest in Rock music, I think she could pull it off and be successful!! ^^

Finally got my copy of the CD today! It looks pretty nice, but I wish that the photobook had more pages, it only had 13, but probably due to Chungchun being a pretty small company. Hope that it didn't deter people from buying her CD.

Overall it's pretty disappointing that she's seemingly gotten so little attention so far despite being pretty well liked on Produce 101. I guess it's pretty tough for a soloist, and perhaps Chungchun can only promote her so much with their resources, and couldn't afford to send her to more music shows.

Yes, it's very frustrating T^T There seemed to be a lot of interest when Sira's mini dropped, but it kind of fizzled out... If Chungchun can't get her on music shows, Sira should be performing elsewhere. It's four weeks into her debut, but she hasn't had many live performances. They need to book more events or have her go busking, so she can get her name out there. If they're really struggling with schedules, then at least let Sira have V LIVE shows every week or have her post cover videos on YouTube to keep fans engaged. It's like she's back in the dungeon... It sucks T_T
