Worried that about her chances of staying in the competition after the current voting period ends since you can only vote for 1 girl, hope that she is enough people's #1 choice. Wish that Mnet had allowed at least 2 votes per account...  :rlytearpls:

Since 11 girls will make to the final group and not just 1 winner, I think it would've made sense to allow multiple votes.

Did very well tonight, even though she wasn't the main vocal, she still had a good number of lines, including a high note near the end, which she executed quite well. She pretty much did all that she could to save herself from elimination tonight, hoping it was enough... Whatever happens, she's done an incredible job to rise 32 places, really proud of her!

Hoping for the best for Sira!

So happy and relieved that Sira made it into the top 22!  :ahmagah:
Didn't watch the episode or follow it live, but I just saw the rankings...



So she got through thanks to the benefit votes that her team won... She would've been comfortably eliminated if her team didn't win, so thank goodness they did!

 

The reality though is that it will be very tough for her to make the final 11 since her ranking without the extra votes was only 32nd and apparently she is going up against Kang Mina in the last episode, who is obviously a lot more popular than her...  :twitch:

Oh so there's a kang sira thread too!! Hii!! I started following P101 late but she is among my faves in the top 22 now  :ahmagah: It pains me to see most people are not choosing her for the final lineup, she'll be an amazing main vocal  :rlytearpls:

She's coming from a long way down, I think most people only started voting for her after My Best, so she simply doesn't have the big fanbases that the girls that have been popular from the start have.

I randomly came across another video of Jea also mentioning Sira (at 1:36), she said that Sira is a very good singer and she was happy when she finally received more attention on the show after not getting much at the beginning because she "doesn't like putting herself forward".

Great to see Sira with other P101 girls, hope that they she gets more opportunities, and it was great to see her perform ITSP again. Wonder why she didn't perform Pick Me since Insun performed it with Sohee and Chaeky instead.

She starts at 2:42. Wasn't expecting anything like this at all, had no idea she could rap... She looks absolutely amazing, and her rapping is quite good!  :ahmagah:  

Mamamoo's Hwasa did the rap in the actual song, but WJSN's Exy did the rap on Mcountdown and Music Bank. Hope that Sira raps with them again!  :la:

It's always entertaining seeing how idols handle their first V Live shows. Sira was super nervous! How cute keke I'm sure she'll get the hang of it the more shows she does ^^

 

Summary

 

  • She's going to release a song/video for Christmas (a cover of a Christmas song?)
  • Has been recording since PD101 ended, but wanted to make sure her album/songs were really good that's why it took so long
  • Title song/MV/jacket pictures are all completed; still picking songs, but all will be released very soon
  • She's really sorry for making everyone wait such a long time, but we'll be able to listen to good music soon
  • Asked if she's going to the PD101/I.O.I concert (?) -- Sira didn't give a direct answer.
  • One person mentioned liking the "My Best" perf -- Sira said sometimes she watches stages from PD101 and cries thinking about them

  • Asked if she was on Hidden Singer -- Sira said yes, during her (early) trainee days. It was an honor being a part of Taeyeon's episode, she was really happy.
  • Sira contacts her friends from PD101 often. She's cheering hard for all of them, including I.O.I.
  • Asked if she's going to have short/bob hair; Sira prefers having long hair, but she's ready if a concept requires her to cut her hair.
  • Asked Sira how she feels about her ì²­.ê°•.ì–¸. (Chungchun Music Kang Sira Unnie) nickname.

    I haven't watched PD101 in forever so I may have remembered this wrong: During the team formation of ITSP, there were too many trainees. Sira was asked which trainees she would kick out from the room and Lee Suhyun was one of them. Upset, Suhyun shouted, "Chunchun Music Kang Sira unnie! You're so mean!" during her interview. On Sira's Korean Wikipedia page, it also states that Sira was never given a special nickname during her time on PD101 - they always called her "Chungchun Music Kang Sira unnie" (apparently DSP's Shiyoon said this in an interview)

    -- Sira's grateful to Suhyun for coming up with the nickname, even if it was made from sadness. Feeling a little guilty, Sira asked Suhyun if she wants to do a V Live together lol They're very close, but since Sira's really been busy with album prep and Suhyun had I.B.I activities, they haven't been able to see each other.

  • She still keeps in touch with Shin/Ng Sze Kai
  • She's going to do have more "prepared" (like more scripted/planned) and longer V Live shows more often; please look forward to them.

So excited about the Christmas cover video and her solo debut!!! Can't wait for more V Lives, it was such a long wait for her 1st one...

Hoping that she'll do solo performances of My Best and In The Same Place. She apparently sung ITSP by herself at some show, but it's not on youtube. I've watched her fancams for them so many times.
