Uee Confesses The Hilarious Reason She Couldn’t Hold Her Part-Time Jobs In The Past - Soompi

 

 

 

 

After School member Uee opened up about working in a lot of part time jobs in the past and shared a funny reason why many of them did not last long.

 

On November 20, the MBC show “Section TV†revealed an interview with the cast of MBC’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Night Light,†Lee Yo Won, Jin Goo, and Uee.

 

During her interview, Uee brought up her working experience in the past, saying, “I’ve worked in a bakery before and in a convenience store as well. But when I got off work, I bought the food there and ate a lot. And so I ended up spending more money than I was making. That’s why I couldn’t work at those places for a long time.â€

 

“Night Light†airs every Monday and Tuesday on MBC starting November 21.

Uee To Reportedly Become Free Agent, Pledis Entertainment Responds - Soompi

 

 

 

 

With recent reports of Uee’s status as a free agent, her current agency Pledis Entertainment has responded with a statement regarding the idol-turned-actress’s contract situation.

 

On May 12, a source from Pledis Entertainment stated, “We are currently discussing a contract renewal with her.†A previous media source stated that Uee will become a free agent and leave her agency after her contract ends in May.

UEE Leaves After School + Shares Handwritten Letter With Fans In Light Of Departure - Soompi

 

 

 

 

With the expiration of her exclusive contract with Pledis just around the corner, UEE has decided to leave After School.

 

On May 31, UEE announced on her official fan cafe that she will be graduating from After School and penned a handwritten letter to fans and her fellow group members.

 

In her letter, UEE said, “It seems like it was just yesterday that I debuted through After School but it has already been eight years since then. My fellow members who were high schoolers at the time are now college students and my occupation has changed as well.â€

 

She continued, “Over the years, ‘graduating’ [from After School] seemed like a faraway event but somehow it is now my turn.â€

 

“I’m thankful to everyone at Pledis and am both thankful and apologetic to my fellow After School members. I will try my best to become a bright and hardworking UEE,†she concluded.

 

 

 

 

UEE will be leaving Pledis after her contract expires at the end of this month. A representative from Pledis stated, “We hope that UEE will be successful in all of her endeavors. We will continue to cheer her on.â€
