The YG-Life blog revealed March 9 as the date for her long awaited comeback through a picture of the current K-Pop Star judges, Park Jin Young, Yoo Hee Yeol and Yang Hyun Suk. It has been almost three years since the release of her first studio album “First Love†in March of 2013. Since then, Lee Hi has also worked collaboration tracks such as “All I Want For Christmas Is You†with Park Bom and “I’m Different†with Akdong Musician‘s Suhyun. I think that picture of Yang Hyun Suck pointing his finger at a sign with her name on it is actually the most attention that he's given her in more than a year. After weeks and months of scrolling through hundreds, maybe thousands, of videos, articles and announcements about iKon, Winner and Big Bang on YG's official website and seeing nothing at all about Lee Hi, I was beginning to think that YG wasn't even going to bother announcing her album in advance and was just going to have a YG staff member maybe send an e-mail to a couple of news reporters the day after the album is released. Kind of like: "By the way, you may be interested to know that Lee Hi released her second album. I think it was yesterday. Nobody seems to know yet, but that's okay. The release date is on a Wednesday, so her first stage performance on TV would likely be on the Kpop Star episode that comes on the following Sunday. I think they did that for Park Ji-Min last year and for AKMU the year before that. it's nice to see them promoting past winners (or runner up in her case).
