Wow I used to read TV Guides for fun when I was a kid

And Blockbuster (and Hollywood Video) was my fav place back then

I don't miss the bulky phone books though--I'm glad they're outdated now. So much easier to just google phone numbers than flipping through a 5000+ page book.

I still get phone books sent to my home every year. And there is still a video rental store in my town (Family Video) and it actually gets a lot of business. It may be more inconvenient than digitally renting but it's often cheaper...

I loved using a rotary phone when I was a kid, we had one bolted to the wall in our upstairs hallway.

The only ones I never experienced were walkmans (I was born in 1990, but my parents never bought me one), rotary phones, and pagers (only seen it once). I only experienced using a typewriter once, and I believe that was all the way back in kindergarten or first grade when my teacher introduced my class to one. And I remember being absolutely clueless and wondering WTF I was supposed to do with it.
