TwiceCosmicFriend 2,396
I definitely believe it'll happen, especially if NCT is a success. NCT looks like they will be a huge money maker for SM, so a female version if that could definitely be something SM will consider. Some probably would have thought it was impossible for there to be a female Super Junior, but then Girl's Generation happened 2 years after Suju debuted. Rumor had it that the members of Red Velvet + some other girls were suppose to be this type of group (of at least a girl group with many members) but amoung the older girls, it was down to the 4 (later on 5). I can see a female counterpart happening in 2018.

The way i see it, the next girl group will come out in 2018, like you said, after SNSD has disbanded... will probably fill up the void left by SNSD or be a mix of RV AND F(X)... maybe around 7 members in my opinion.. But i do not think their will be a female version of NCT, male groups are more popular being the main reason What many are seeing and hoping for SM to debut a co-ed group... now that would be interesting
bluecottoncandy 5,770
I wonder what SM's plan is for SR15G.
Fab Seobaby 3,397
If NCT is successful there will be plenty of companies making their own versions
miaissocoollike 1,248
It's possible. SM's notorious with making girl group versions of their boy groups
jaehyunnies 3,170
Only if NCT project succeeds, which is something we wont know any time soon.
Bishu 1,695
lmao SM doesn't have that many female trainees to begin with. If anything, SNSD 2.0 is safer and guaranteed success

WoShiProDevils 699
I dun think so. Its hard for girl group to gain fans and with rotating member that will be worse.
