The likely reason Cube are adding 2 members to CLC

Recommended Posts

When CLC were first announced, Cube said they would be a multinational group. But when the 5 were revealed, Sorn was revealed to be the Thai member and was the only member that wasn't native korean/korean in general.

Before they debuted it was rumored that on top of the 5 there was a Chinese Australian girl and a Hong Kong girl rumored to be in the group. Perhaps they didn't debut initially because the had to train a bit more.

So yeah that's likely why the group has 7 members now.

While talent is the last thing CLC was lacking, they were going to fall behind. There was something missing about them.. no chemistry or spark. Nothing interesting and dead hype. Hopefully this will lead to a stronger potential future.

i strangely agree lol. as much as i enjoy their debut song i couldn't bring myself to check them out frequently..their first comeback is totally a let down. Bland song, horrible outfits, not properly promoted .. there is like something is lacking with this group but i don't know what .. it's kinda harsh to said this but out of rookies who debuted in the same year with them, they're totally fall far behind in terms of everything. I guess Cube want to did something revamp that could give rejuvenates to this group..moreover having more members kinda give you benefit in specific terms ;better formation, fans accumulate ..

You're just getting older. There are always uber young idols in the group that are usually 14-16 when they debut. Taemin,Sulli,Krystal,Seohyun,Min,Tzuyu, etc.

you can back up hun! i ain't old!

with the new laws surrounding idols making it harder to promote for idols under 16 of course id be worried about clc

'00 line i can understand, but '02 is just too young. i wouldn't mind her debuting before all these child laws came about, but it'd just reduce the amount of time the group can promote

100% agreed

At least we're not the only ones who can see the potential

I'm really excited for the comeback. Like, they are super talented, just watch the busking perfomances or the acoustic ones, you can definitly see potential there. The only thing they need is something to stand out as different, since Pepe although good was kind of a safe play and Like was not what everyone expected.

Anyway, as my personal taste, i loved both Pepe and Like, so it makes really happy that Cube didn't forget about them.

Agreed.

The only thing they are lacking is variety skills or chemistry between members.

Their interactions is too dull.
