Even if a competing drama with Descendants of the Sun have a lower standard of casting, if the storyline and the directing is better, they'll win. Just look at Gaekjoo. LMAO all this hype for DOTS is giving me a bad inkling though as an avid drama watcher. I have this feeling it will be below expectations. My money is on Come Back Ahjussi being a surprise hit.
