would you think the same way?

so, I started watching a new kdrama, "Yeah, That's How It Is" and the first couple of episodes are mainly about how the oldest son lost his own son and his wife within a week of each other five years ago.  now, people are starting to question why his widowed daughter-in-law is still living with him as there was no grandchildren so there is no longer a familial bond.  could something unimaginable actually be happening?

for some reason, this has really struck me.  if someone told me this, I would think it was really weird in real life.  I could see circumstances where it wouldn't be weird, but my initial reaction would most certainly be suspecting their relationship.  I know that the way family is treated is different in Korea than here in the States, but I am genuinely

curious as to how others would react (even though I'm pretty sure this topic is going to flop).

tl:dr - if your widower neighbor was living with his widowed daughter-in-law five years after both of their spouses died within a week of each other, would you think that something was going on between them?

(btw- it's only 4 episodes in out of 60, so I can't say it's worth it to watch or not)

how is family treated in US?

most people wouldn't have lived with their in-laws or parents in the first place (people do, but majority do not once they are married)
