I tried induced vomiting today

My Everything

Recommended Posts

but i couldn't go through with it

today i ate 8 mini cookies, a slice of Neapolitan cake, a brownie, some chips and fried calamari.

i still exercise 6 days a week but it seems everything is going wrong.

i want to know your thoughts on willpower. if such a thing even exists.

because all i hope for everyday is to be able to eat healthy and exercise.

i do about half as much of what i say.

it's frustrating to say the least.

but i just pick myself up and try again even if i don't want to.

because i know at the end of the day, i'm the doing this to myself and nobody is going to help me other than me.

love you all.

Please don't do it again. Not only it won't help you lose weight but it will affect your health in the long term.

If you're binge eating like you did today then it means your diet is not balanced. Try to find healthy alternatives for food that might tempt you and make sure you eat small meals 6 times a day so you won't feel hungry. Going to a nutritionist is also important to help you have a proper meal plan that suits you and your body.

It's already really helpful that you exercising and you seem to have the right mindset so don't change it and don't lose focus.

that is extremely unhealthy, I recommend eating protein-rich foods instead and gaining muscle so your metabolism increases and you can continue eating the same amount without becoming fat.

Its what I plan on doing (when I can make myself start eating more of anything that is).

That's not the way to do it. And blaming yourself doesn't help either. Going from unhealthy eating to healthy eating doesn't happen overnight. It requires time and constant effort. Throw away all the unhealthy foods in your fridge and go buy some healthy alternatives. Drink lots of water, it will help keep you full. Every time you're tempted to eat something unhealthy think of how you want to look like and remember that it eating it only makes it harder for you to reach your goal. Make a schedule with all your meals every week (a nutritionist can help with that) and reward yourself once a week for sticking to it with a slice of cake or whatever you like. It's far from impossible, all it takes is lots of determination and small steps.

like everyone else has said, don't do this. The effects of induced vomiting over time are so bad for your health.

If you need a reason not to do this google image 'bulimia teeth'.

That's a lot of sweets but I think it's ok if you ate all of that along a whole day, also it seems your have some physiological issues that are making you struggle with your exercise routine. So I think it's great your trying to improve yourself but everyone needs help at some point so you could do with some orientation like going with a nutritionist.

As for the food if you like sweet stuff then try eating fruit or something with more substance. I don't know what's for other people but when I exercise and I'm starving I don't feel like eating junk food, it's not that I don't like it but I'm conscious about eating properly and resting plays a big part when you try to lose weight or gain fitness. So I don't know if you cook your meals or someone else does it but you need to be conscious about it beforehand like when you're in the supermarket buying food.

I'm sorry y'all but I ended up doing it today :(

I felt disgusting

don't do that... it's okay to eat badly sometimes. You can still lose weight by going a bit hungry afterwards, or if it's very occasional, a big cheat day is fine without that too.

How is the weight loss coming along? We can probably give advice if you feel stuck or anything like that.
