Have you ever tried converting a friend to being a K-pop fan?

I've only just recently started trying to get my IRL friends into listening to K-pop. Sometimes when I'm riding in the car with one of my friends, I connect my phone to her Bluetooth thing and her car and stream K-pop songs from Spotify. I don't know if it's working but she likes CL's Hello Bitches now.  :hurr:

Have any of you tried getting your RL friends into K-pop?

Only the ones that have an open-mind.. or wouldn't necessarily mind listening to it.  I've only gotten 1 friend at least somewhat-halfway into it.  I don't try to push it though.

Turned my best friend last year into an EXO-L after she saw a gif of Kai blowing a kiss to a fan. She's still a hardcore directioner but she liked Got7, 2NE1, and BTS too. My other friend is a tryhard when it comes to kpop. She doesn't really stan them as hard she says she does, she just listens to it for the music but I'm not upset or anything. She likes 9Muses and SNSD. She just told me this summer that Jessica left SNSD and I was like :unimpressed:
