I think the washed-out red and dark red hair were just temporary dye or hair chalk, though. IDK what his hair color was prior to the NA tour so IDK if his hair was already bleached from a previous dye job, but if it was, then temporary dye could give him good results without the need to bleach again. And temporary dye isn't as damaging as permanent dye.
