For some idols, it is completely acceptable to drag, prime examples of these idols would be Bobby or CL. If you go onto the bashing thread you will see those two bashes against the two with the most upvotes, whilst bashes against Umji will without a doubt get negged. Why is this so? It is proven that Umji has self esteem issues, based on an article that was posted not 24 hours ago, and within that article a lot of sympathy was given towards her. Understandable. But when Bobby acknowledges the fact that people find him ugly, it's hilarious and will certainly get a few upvotes. When CL admits to YG calling her ugly, people make fun of how much makeup she applies and her plastic surgery and get upvotes. But when Umji herself shows signs of low self esteem one is automatically trash for any further negative comment? But let's just cut right to the chase : The sole reason as to why it is so unacceptable to make fun of her looks is because she's young. That's exactly what it is. Do you really think people are going to defend her as hard as they do as she grows older? I'm certain people won't. If there's no dragging, there's no defending, so there will be no mess and we will all be happy. first of all this whole dragging for looks thing is completely irrelevant, how the hell do looks affect someone's talent? looks are always a plus but should i name the amount of people with looks and no talent? second, by what standards are they ugly? because i'm not even close to calling them that third, for god's sake CL isn't the only one with plastic surgery, i see posts and threads talking about the yg girls as if they're the only ones with ps.. But to answer your question, yes it's really goddamn annoying when you defend someone's visuals and diss another's just because they're younger. I don't see the teacher petting my little sister when she does shit and putting me into trouble for doing the same.. The age thing should go away, if they're in the same industry they're all considered professionals.
