LaJetée 21,675 Posted February 21, 2016 Share Posted February 21, 2016 i think it was rushed seeing as how we got three songs from sixteen and twice began preparing for their debut as soon as sixteen finished, considering that i think it's a solid debut mini, their next one will undoubtedly be much better considering they've probably had more time to pick and craft even more quality songs, i'm excited to hear what their next mini will sound like. Loo 5,708 Posted February 21, 2016 Share Posted February 21, 2016 Some songs feel rushed. Truth and Do It Again are in the album version. I don't know how they managed to make it sound so awful. Truth was my favorite song during Sixteen, that chorus is amazing, it just needed a bit of adjustment on the "Oh baby" line that was awkward af. The album version was a HUGE disappointment, it sounds messy, and the problematic line is still there, somehow :S Candy Boy and Like a Fool are They're my favorite songs from the album^^ I really wanted the girls to do a short 1-2 week follow-up promo with Candy Boy instead of re-performing Like Ooh Ahh. The choreo for it is amazing too! Like Ooh Ahh is catchy and really gave each girl the opportunity to shine, especially in the MV, I just wish the line distribution was a bit fairer. It's good that the line distribution overall in the EP was fairer, but most people only listen to the title song so Overall I think it's a solid debut EP, but it can be improved as well.
