I hope that doesn't hurt them and mark an otherwise awesome concert. I'm not offended because I understand the context. I also know that many of us have complianed to US rappers that they are pushing this word around the world in popular music, so don't be surprised when you hear others around th he world using. Take Kendrick Lamar. He's popular all over the world right now and has great music. But one song has more N bombs than the whole Jay Z album collection. I'm not sure if it was our Hyuna or another kpop artist had him in their instagram.

Right now I'm just going to enjoy that she slayed and hope this doesn't cause a backlash once it gets out.

She probably doesn't even know that it is a bad world, people outside the US hear it in songs and they just think that it is a friendly term like "man" or "bro",hopefully this doesn't cause problems for them...

In case the n-word will cause any scandals or some shit:

Honestly, she was just going along with the lyrics and I doubt that she intended to offend anyone.. I dont think she even knows what the word means and I dont think she knows that people take offense to the word :/ Anyways, other than that she scalped me, queen of pop

tldr; unnie didnt mean it !!

Wow, try reading my post again. If English is not your first language I would suggest reading slower for comprehension. Btw fun fact # 2, I'm also black.

"I also know that many of us have complianed to US rappers that they are pushing this word around the world in popular music, so don't be surprised when you hear others around th he world using."

1. why should people be complaining for them using a word that refers to them when they're just reclaiming it? 2. "pushing this word around" again, no. they're reclaiming it, empowering it etc. 3. people saying the n word just bc they heard someone say it and not even bother to look up what it means is the absolute problem here. 4. how can you tell others to not be surprised or offended just bc you aren't? do you represent the entire black community sis? no. at the end of the day any form of the n word is a racial slur and should not be used by non black people.

1. The fact that you think the N word should be a word that's ok because some ignorant black people refer to themselves in such a manner makes my point.

2. You can't reclaim something you never owned. That's the word of the segregationist and prop of Jim Crow. And one wonders how many blacks heard that word before being hung from trees around the USA. Please google strange fruit and lynchings in the United States. Empowerment comes not from redifing words but personal growth and uplifting oneself. Otherwise you only achieve surface level change.

3. The funny thing is many blacks don't understand the meaning behind the word and don't care to as long as it sounds good in a song. So why do you expect non blacks to learn black history when many blacks don't learn it.

4. I don't speak for the black community, only for myself. But I know this debate is ongoing among blacks in the US. Many blacks went to and spoke out against rappers and entertainers using the word of the slave master and lynch mob. Why? Because many of us rightly knew that we would only spread a word that needs to die with a bygone age. If you are offended then be offended by the entertainers who have made the word so common it's used in within evety language around the world.

No I don't speak for every black person. But as a black person who used to use the word alot and consciously chose not to use it because of the very controversy here, I don't blame Erine for its use in a song. Because when we normalize the use in music, we then give a certain unwritten premission to the listener. The listener who if not saying it out loud is saying it in their mind and heart. So no I'm not holding the consumer to a higher standard than those who should know better not to use it.

Honestly I'm truly done with this topic and will not respond further to this. I really debated even answering you. The spotlight should be on the fact that Namyu snatched all kinds of weaves. That's not going to be derailed by this nonsense in which some are trying to bring down the moment.
