Thought I'd do a quick tutorial for anyone that wanted to pick artists for this thing. I know most of you know what it is, but for those who don't:

What is "NTV Best Artist"?

NTV's Best Artist is an over three and a half hour special program in which both the artist lineup and songs are picked by fans.

Will I be able to stream it live?

Yep! There's a few streaming options available, so you'll be able to watch it live when the time comes.

When does the lineup get announced?

About mid-November. More artists are usually added as the air date gets closer.

When does the show air?

It airs November 27th, at 7PM Japan time.

Can I send a request in to see a K-Pop artist perform their Japanese songs?

I didn't see any rule on the site saying that you couldn't.

Tutorial

Line 1: Your pen name. You could put anything here.

Line 2 (Drop box): Age. It doesn't ask for specifics, just a general range (10yrs~19yrs, 20~29yrs, etc.)

Line 3: Gender. 男 is male, 女 is female.

Line 4, 5, 6, 7, 8: Your top 5 artists you want to see. Make sure to copy/paste their name in Japanese if they have one.

Line 9: What songs you'd like the artist to sing. Again, make sure to copy/paste the Japanese spelling if there is one.

When you're done, click the left gold button, and it will ask you if everything is correct. If it is, click the left button again to submit your form!

I think it's hilarious that most Japanese websites look like they were made in the early 2000s

Uh....huh? Most Japanese website designs are pretty great. :wth: This is just some form for a TV show. You can't expect them to spend weeks designing something that will only be up for a month or two.

That's true.  Most websites in japan are optimized for mobile phones so layouts are extremely simple.  Generally, the coding infrastructure is not very good in japan.  They're pretty behind in it.
