For this kind of award shows performances, when they air it on Tv they usually clean the audio so we can hear their voices clearly and less noise from the audience cheering. Their voices sound clear in this video so it seems like they clean the audio. There was most likely people cheering during the actual live, you can hear a little of it at the beginning~ Btw a standing ovation would be a bit too much for a Kpop performance lol. AOA is immensely popular among the general public. It is not news that they don't have a big fandom (fangirls).Discouraging at the time? Maybe. But they're still raking a lot of money from their CFs. This is not something they would lose any sleep for. And fangirls usually cheer for everyone at these award shows. They won't lose a seconds sleep over this and if they need a morale boost they will just look at Heart Attack that is still charting in the top 50 on melon after nearly 35 weeks now.
