Let me tell you why I think this, and I'll note that I see these things coming mostly from Onew and Key biased fans. 1. When Ace was announced... They were angry. Even though no one had a problem with Key doing Toheart. And all was quiet when Jonghyun teased his solo. 2. They don't hesitate to throw Taemin under the bus if you dare say he's a better singer than Key or Onew, they'll make sure you know how much they prefer OnKey's voices over boring Taemin, or how bad Taemin is at singing live, which is funny considering "impeccable live singing" is the biggest bragging point for Shawols. 3. They claim Taemin gets the most lines in the songs now and that Key and Onew should be getting more when in reality, that is not the truth http://onehallyu.com/topic/176727-shinees-solo-lines-distribution-in-oddIt's mostly only true for title tracks. Taemin is just a better singer than Key, and he only gets high notes/belts more often than Onew, because Taemin is much better with higher notes. Shawols are just used to JongYu dominating the songs and they were happy with that. Since Taemin debuted with less lines than the others, they'd prefer it stay that way. That would be such a waste, don't you think? SHINee now has the one of the most fair line distributions in k-pop so the complaints blow my mind. I think Key and Onew fans just have some unsatisfied desires and need a scapegoat. Leave Taemin alone. He works hard for what he gets, and it's not realistic to think everything is going to always be split cleanly and evenly between the five. It doesn't work like that. Because they only show how petty and bitter they are. If they claim that SHINee is their bias group, they should be able to support and wish well EVERY single member. or at least if they don't like one member, it should be good just ignore him. It's not that difficult..I know it's a fact of justice (because of line distributon, solo or whatever) but honestly Taemin is talented, hard-working and I don't see the reason why people should be pissed about him and his work. He's more stable than Onew live though It's the other way around... Onew is the most stable live in the group but Taemin is a more capable vocalist... Ya'll have serious fraction issues, extremely serious that I left the fandom because of it and it's not just against Taemin but between all the members. ruppi 9,190 Posted February 19, 2016 Share Posted February 19, 2016 And you couldn't have posted this in the bashing thread because?If we were still talking about Taemins debut back then I'd agree with you ...but this comeback I've seen nothing but support from shawols.At this point its mostly none shawols that complain about shit.Key fans admittedly sometimes can get really frustrated and put the blame on Taemin eventhough he doesn't deserve any (though most don't even put it there anymore but just complain in generell for more lines) but again how is this relevant now ?Has there been any recent hate campaign on this forum that I totally missed? edit: Thinking about it again, the way I put it might come of wrong ..I haven't seen any locket complain about Taemin in ages ...I don't think they ever really did (yes they are frustrated because Key tends to be underrated sometimes but they don't put Taemin down ..they are really just mad in generell for this.... but since Key has found his place in musicals and fashion they are more at peace these days ..) So many Jonghyun stans were mad that Taemin got a solo first, and they attacked and demeaned him on a daily basis back in Ace era. I honestly haven't seen any Key stans hating on Taemin the way you describe here. Also, thank you for setting the record straight about line distribution. SHINee do have good distribution compared to the rest of K-pop, and in their Japanese songs it's even better (they actually let Minho sing). Another thing I've noticed is that a lot of non-fans like to chime in with their opinions about SHINee (specifically who should/shouldn't have/etc go solo) and it causes a misconception that most shawols are like that. Maybe here it's not bad but in different places, it's always been the battle of who's the most "useless" (often Key or Minho), who's stealing who's lines (Taemin vs Jonghyun and Onew), and who doesn't deserve the attention that they've gotten. I'm not saying all shawols don't support the group as a whole, but many do have that mentality.
