Thoughts on ep 11:

I really REALLY wish they would divulge what went down with Hyun Min and Hye Ji's past. I feel like I would have liked her a LOT more if I just understood why she was so caught on to a dude who treats her like crap and then confuses her by doing a nice thing and then goes back to hurting her again. I get Hyun Min doesn't know how to treat her well due to some issue, but it's making me unable to understand his character and confused why he keeps doing nice things than goes back to treating her like crap again. I'm glad Hye Ji stood up for herself more this ep against him because I would be extremely confused and conflicted with my feelings if I had someone treating me like Hyun Min treating her. It's sweet that he cares, and it shows he knows how to care, but he just needs to learn to translate that directly instead of always thinking she's gonna be there for him and then moping when she's not.

I'm glad Jiwoon recognizes his feelings for Hawon a lot more this ep as well and immediately went to take care of business once he found out what happened between Hye Ji and Hawon. I wasn't a fan of Hye Ji immediately going towards Jiwoon cause I'm quite unsure she actually likes him - she's still affected by Hyun Min so I hope Jiwoon wasn't her rebound option. Moreover, I never quite understood why Jiwoon stuck to her so much. I know they had that one scene in the past where she cried and he connected that to his mother, but it never really stuck with me. But, if anything I'm glad Hye Ji was honest in saying what she said to Hawon. I kinda feel bad for Hye Ji because I think Jiwoon's actions could be misunderstood at this point as well since he's done so much for her and you'd think that he likes her. And I'm sure if she had just realized and turned to him earlier, they might be dating but at this point, Hawon has crept into his heart more. I also didn't like her talk with Hawon because that told me she knew that Jiwoon had liked her but then she never did anything to stop him from taking care of her. I assumed she knows that he likes Hawon since she noticed the little clues and signs, so I thought that she would take that as a sign to back off, but nope...she had to go to tell Hawon that JW feels the same as she does. However, I wish the drama gave her more in depth layers from the beginning because I feel like she could have been a more standout character rather than the damsel in distress 24/7. I feel bad about her situation, but the show isn't giving me what I need to sympathize enough with her since they've had playing such a 1D character for so long.

I was really sad Seo Woo and bodyguard didn't have as much time - but I'm happy that Chairman is beginning to tail Hwaja. I hope he doesn't fire Bodyguard for being her son though when he finds out :( I'm curious to see what Hwaja really has going on BTS. I'm also happy the stepmom got fired, although I was a bit surprised. I was shocked that her daughter didn't even ask why she was fired, just went back to "OMG WAAA U WERE SUPPOSED TO GET CONNECTIONS WITH DA HANEUL WIFE" Girl your mom just got fired and you can't even comfort her??? meh.

I did like the dynamic between Hawon and Jiwoon because I know we're gonna get some cutesy stuff in eps 12/13 (though what happens beyond ep 13 is beyond me so hopefully they tie it up nicely), and I'm glad they both realize their feelings. I'm happy Hawon didn't keep her feelings inside her and told Jiwoon to stop doing things that could be misunderstood since she doesn't want to go for someone that already has his feelings taken. however, I get her point yet I hope she realizes how much Jiwoon really does for her - although he doesn't always get to do it right away (like the banana milk and giving the white day gift). I can't wait for the next two eps.

But omg - that "DAD" - SCREW OFF. GO AWAY. I was SO happy with Hawon told him to just leave because that's a hard pill to swallow when a random ahjussi you only knew as a mom's friend reveals that he's your dad. Like seriously?? I really hope that's not true - please do a DNA test someone. Even if it is true, I hope she realizes he's being sleazy and only wants her back for the riches, and not for her. It really broke my heart because I think a part of her was hoping that having a different father was all a lie and her mother would never cheat on someone else, but....I felt really sad when she was calling te person who she has known as her dad her whole life. Seriously, I don't get the dad she's grown up with - sure you can be mad at the wife but Hawon has only given you love her entire life and you repay her with crap. However, I do have a bit of hope since he has a family picture in his car, but I need this to be solved stat.

Thoughts on the episode

I feel too lazy so I'll make it short

Not enough Seowoo and Yoonsung!! It bugged me how little screen time they had

I like how there is still interaction between Hyunmin and Hawon even if the ship is dead because they have such a good chemistry

I don't like Hyeji, like I can understand her but her story line is so uncomfortable to watch imo. It also felt like she tried to sabotage Jiwon's and Hawon's relationship and I din't like that because he had done so much for her and now he deserve to be happy.

I really hate the dad, I knew I'm gonna hate this story line and I really did. By this point, I don't want her to find her biological dad (if there is one), I want her begin a fresh start without a crappy family and her "new family" of friends at the Sky House, it sounds cheesy but it will be cute lmao.

I'm glad how Jiwon handles Hawon. He does really care for her and wants to make her happy. I think he had great development.

Overall good episode, had some good comedy too.

For real! I'm like was waiting to see when Yoonsung would pop up! He only had like two scenes wtf. I also didn't like Hyeji in this episode. Like she definitely knows Hawon had a thing for Jiwoon and then she pulls this shit when she isn't even over Hyunmin. These two in denial lovers need to get their shit together. And omg don't even let me get started on Hawon's fake dad...like he literally is in there for the money. Hawon has enough problems already  she doesn't need your ass.  And to think this allhappened because of her stupid stepmother but karma bit her in the ass cause she got herself fired

I get you like Hye Ji and that's all cool - but you don't need to downplay the rest of us who might not favor her character.

If Hye Ji had better characterization and wasn't so one dimensional it would probably make her well liked. tbh, the way the drama is playing out isn't making her favorable because if they had revealed her and HM's history earlier on, maybe we can understand why she always goes to HM even though he treats her like crap majority of the time (and knows it). I didn't appreciate her lying to Hawon about Jiwoon EVEN IF she is in a bad state with her finances right now. I'm always trying to remain neutral about a character and while I get there's a lot of history between her and the two Kang cousins, I think she really needs to learn how to stand up for herself and become more independent than being stuck in the past because it's really hindering her. That's why I was a bit happier with her this episode because she blocked off all of Hyun Min's nice attempts in order to move on and stop getting stuck, but then she reverted to Jiwoon instead to fill up the empty space.
