[tVN] "Cinderella and 4 Knights" 신데렐라와 네 명의 기사 Drama Thread // Finale Episode~

this is bad guys

I've been doing well tis summer by living off drama recaps so that I don't have to be too emotionally invested or obsessed with a show - but then I happened to read a recap of ep 2 for this drama and I just HADDDD to know what happened next ....and I watched ep 3-4 last night and now I'm sad because I start school tomorrow LOL.

I wasn't expecting to like this drama or even follow this drama and now I'm hooked this is bad XD

anyway, I am loving Park So Dam. She's so cute and pretty omg, I love Hawon. I hope she remains her sassy and perky self throughout the rest of the drama. I like the idea of a Cinderella that isn't afraid to fight back when needed.

I wasn't planning to follow this drama because I thought it was just gonna be another BOF but updated to today's trends. And for reference I hated everything about BOF except the nice scenes and the relationship between the friends of the lead characters. I mean the drama is still a bit cliche in some of its tactics, but a part of me really likes those fluffy cliche scenes, plus I like that Hawon just gives it right back to them - like that whole pushing against the wall thing, I was like YES GIRL YES. And I appreciate that although Jiwoon's been cold to her, he's not like...physically violent against her? Plus you can see he actually struggles with what he says after and that he does have good to him but it just gets shrouded with his actions since he doesn't explain himself (whereas in BOF we didn't get to see much of that until the lead characters actually started falling in love).

Also I'm shipping her with ...like everyone right now.

And I read through some of the pages - on Hyeri, I don't hate her, but I also am not fond of her. I figure I'll warm up to her once some of the more deep stuff on everyone's background history is revealed but for now I'm kinda mehhhh on her. Like does Jiwoon actually care for her? And if so, does she even realize or worse, does she know and she's using it to her advantage? It kinda bugs me she's just like "OH I just want that girl away from Hyun Min's side" but like..???? girl, maybe if you'd ask Hawon what's up she'd spill the entire thing on what their "relationship" is. I know it must be hard harboring a crush for that long and for someone like that, so I'm curious as to how the Hyun Min she knew and is in love with was before he changed for the worse. I did appreciate her striking a cord within Hyun Min when she said she still has hope of his former self returning. Maybe it's just her voice too idk haha - it's kinda like Sandara's voice for me. I mean they're not horrible actors by any means, but their voice prevents me from feeling any impact from their words or emotions they're trying to portray. She's doing a lot better here than what I've seen of her in the past though, so I'm happy to see she's improving at the very least!

phew okay sorry guise that was kinda long. but yeah I'll be following this thread from now on while trying to juggle schoolwork XD

Well tbvh, im also a girl, but i dont find her attitude that irritating.. shes not bothering hyunmin WITHOUT ANY REASON..

shes not like a desperate stalker like other random girls used to dated with him... if shes like them then i would be irritated...

but shes not, she has her own reason... i understand her character since im a girl..  :imstupid:

Anyway im gonna look forward to the shower scene soon lol

IBT5qV7.png?1

Haha I'm a girl as well and I don't find her irritating. I just haven't quite warmed up to her, but I think that's mainly due to the fact that they haven't given her character any depth yet. So far all we've gotten from her is from scratching the surface of her personality. However, we do know something happened with Hyun Min that caused him to be this way, and that she's holding on to the old Hyun Min - which is why I also feel bad for her and sympathize with her (I mean they're childhood friends, and he's being a grade A douche to her) but at the same time, I just want her to have some other characterization so that whenever she's shown, she's not always being related to Hyun Min in someway. I appreciate the moments where she's just happily designing without any other thoughts but that.

I really just hope they don't turn this second female lead character into another evil person bent on revenge to stay by the one she loves. It doesn't match with her current personality and I'm not a big fan whenever they make good characters have a sudden evil turn of will that doesn't match anything they've done in the rest of the drama

I was told the shower scene was a dream, is that true? If so, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. But....realistically it makes sense.

4 EPS? that seems impossible...  Only if they delayed some of episodes, they do aired more than 2 eps..

example like SBS drama lately, they aired two eps in a day.

yeah I know hahaha - but it's a small hope of mine to wish XD

Just finished the episode

It actually really bothered me this epsiode that Hawon was acting kinda stupid. Too nice, too clueless. I am not liking that :/

But on the bright side I really liked Jiwoon this episode. He is starting to fill the gaps with Hyunmin. I literally died at the car scene :ahmagah:

I still prefer Hyunmin for Hawon tho, but the lack of communication problem between them is bad. I really wish he would just had told her that she means more then a friend too him :rlytearpls:

Am I the only one who has a feeling that the made is related to Hawon? I feel like she may be her real dad sister or her actual mom or something.

So overall it was a decent episode with great otp moments, but I think the flaws of the show and of Hawon as a charterer really stood up this time :/

Anyways the preview for ep 6 looked really good

I actually get a weird feeling that whoever Kang Jiwoon's father is perhaps her father. Like idk, the whole thing with Hawon's father not being her actual father  - and then the father searching for the taekwando master whose surname is Kang - and the fact that Hawon's mother participated in taekwondo as well...

but then again, that'd be strange if the two leads fell in love with one another and found that they're actually related lol

I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt to Hawon in that perhaps she's just never experienced this type of situation before and is just focusing on her main missions in the house rather than what's actually going on. Doesn't mean I want her to act that way, but so far I'm still loving her spunky self :3

I dunno what to feel for ep 6 though - I'm never a big fan of jelly girls ganging up on a poor victim cause she's around the "oppas" I sense a lot of eye rolling from me tomorrow

Lol I don't they will make them siblings since they are the suppose to have a love line. Same with Hyunmin. I feel like it is very possible that one of the other two guys will be related to her.

Do you know who was her father in the book?

Nope D: maybe someone here knows though cause I'm kinda curious

I agree that it is obvious that Hawon like Jiwon but I don't understand why. Like he is mean to her almost all the time. Hyunmin is a lot kinder to her but she seems to have a bad impression of him. I actually like both of them for Hawon but Jiwon needs to be a little nicer to her and actually to her face and not in secret for the ship to develop.

And honestly I rather Hyunmin end up alone then with Hyeji. She needs to move on.

I honestly think that she isn't fangirling over Hyun Min just cause she already thinks he likes Hye Ji (like she mentioned that after they had that confrontation in te restaurant)

But I agree - I mean I think Hawon and Jiwoon would be great since they both have similar pains of losing parents - and based from Jiwoon's view, it's easy to think that Hawon was just another one of the money grubbing girls that Hyun Min was strining along for a little while since Hyun Min doesn't seem to last with a girl for too long - which is why I maybe think Hawon is more immune to his moves as well. Of course we as the viewers know that Hyun Min actually cares more for Hawon but not from their point of view. I'm not getting the whole Hye Ji - Jiwoon relationship though - why exactly is he so into her? I know they showed a small jacket scene between the two of them but I wanna know how they got so close - is it out of pity, sympathy?

I agree though - I would rather Hye Ji just disattach herself from the boys and find a new love interest or just not at all. Her character is lacking some severe depth at this point and it's starting to get to me because she obviously has a great future ahead of her, but she's letting herself be held back by her feelings.

Tbvh i like Jiwoon more... I know well that Hawon will chose him eventually.... cause thats happen in Novel  :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_yUIbYDtfQ

hmm the picture of hawon's father doesn't match any of the father's funeral pictures shown in ep 6 (or at least from what I can tell - but maybe it's just due to camera angle/quality at the moment)

thoughts on ep 6: (kinda long)

first off - awwww I really really hope that Hye Ji doesn't let her love for Hyun Min get in the way of becoming friends with Hawon. I love that despite loving Hyun Min to no end, she really is a nice person. I really loved the scenes of HW x HJ especially when they were in bed together. I'd love to have Hawon have another girl friend she can feel comfortable talking too, and so that way Hye Ji can also have someone to talk to other than dudes. However, I REALLY REALLY REALLY Hope this drama doesn't make her evil because that's just kinda silly at this point. She's been nothing but nice to the extent she hurts herself so I'd rather not the writer make this into a "oh she was only nice cause she wants to be closer to hyun min"

It's interesting how all of the leads have had deaths of family members though - I guess in that way they're all tied to one another. There's so many mysteries that are still yet to be uncovered and I'm going mad. Like who else could be a child since the grandpa mentioned his son's seeds? I read the theory someone posted above and it'd be cool if Hawon was the lost child but it'd be even cooler if it was the secretary :o

Speaking of secretary, GOD HE LOOKED SO HOT WHEN HE WAS FLIPPING ALL THOSE RUDE STUDENTS. Same with Jiwoon haha. And I love how Hyun Min just threw his car keys.

I rolled my eyes at Yoona and her mother today along with the boy's mothers. Seriously, some people are just so entitled. Like the mothers talking about the heirs AT THE MOURNING PLACE? RUDE AF. I hope they get shot down even more stat. I was so confused how they were even let into the Sky house in the first place and so I'm glad the secretary put them out where they belong. I was rolling my eyes at the bullying scene too - like really, cutting off her clothes? Rude af and probably sexual harrasment - especially considering they recorded her

I really really really loved Hyunmin's confession scene - one because it was so sincere, and two because he still inflated himself with his ego LOL. I wonder how things are gonna go now since both Hye Ji and Jiwoon know about the fake fiancee thing.

I dunno who I ship the most but I think I'm leaning towards her and secretary just cause.

On topic of the whole father mourning scenes, I was a bit frustrated because although I sympathized with the boys, I also sympathized with Hawon. But at the same time I also disagreed with them.

For the boys: I understood because - why would they have to go mourn and respect someone who never showed any ounce of care towards them? They've been hurt several times over and it shows. Exception is Seo Woo, because although he does love his father, I can see why he didn't want to go. Why would he go to a procession that seems to be more a of stage show more than anything considering his father was never recognized by Grandpa at all till he was dead? At the same time, I understand why they ended up visiting. These boys may be rich, but they have a huge void.

That's why I was frustrated with Hawon continually saying "geeeeezzzz they don't realize how lucky they have it" I know her life is hard as well, but at least she had adult figures with her, even though they may not have been the best. Money doesn't fill the love that a parent could have given the boys. It simple doesn't work that way - you know, when you have hard times, you want to be able to lean on family. These boys didn't have that - not even from the ones that still have their mothers (except Seowoo a bit). I realize they're rich, but they're struggling with much more internal issues that won't simply be solved by driving around a fancy new sports car.

However, at the same time, I understood Hawon and I sympathized with why she was trying so hard to convince them. I like that she did get through to them - it's something that I appreciate about Hawon's character is that she says things that really are sincere and genuine. I sympathized because although she had parent figures in her life, it might have well seemed like they weren't there at all. I pity her because they treat her like crap, but she still holds so much hope that they can be a happy family. That hope kinda resembles Hye Ji in a way - stuck in the past, but not moving forward in the present. I definitely understand where Hawon was coming from, but it seemed like at points she just brushed off what struggles the boys might have experienced just because they seem to have it all. That's why I'm happy that Ahjumma and the Secretary was there to say that they understand why the boys wouldn't show up, but it'd be nice if they did. In the end, I'm glad everyone visited and that there was a middle ground that everyone reached.

On the note about Hawon and her family, GOD, I wish she could use her spunk and sass she has against Hyun Min to her family. Like girl, THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOU. You tell them you're living at Sky house and YOU BE PROUD. I know it's not in her character to be like that, but seriously, were they ever nice to you in the first place? they may be family, but that doens't mean they have any right to treat you like scum and throw you out when you need help the most. I get the whole loyaty family thing is important, but at some point, there's some relationships that are more toxic to keep than to try and rebuild. I liked that Hawon did bring in some sass when she was with the girl bullies, but I just was waiting for her to kick one of them in the face since no one was holding her legs down :/ kinda sad about that since I was expecting more resistance, but I get the odds were against her favor.

however, I really do love her character. So Dam is so pretty and cute that it just radiates through the screen. I love her optimism and her work hard personality, although Hawon is a bit too naive and nice at times. I hope to see everyone grow and mature as the series go on. I hope to see Hawon grow into someone that realizes that some people aren't worth keeping by your side, and to remain strong even in the hardest of times. And I hope the boys all grow to rely on one another without having to use money, insults, or people in order to stay on top.

OMG this makes sense why Hyun Min was on the plane on his pajamas LOLOLOL

thoughts on ep 7

Awww poor Hyun Min. It's cute how he's suffering a break down but it's also kinda sad that everyone has to know about it

I was tearing up on Hawon's part but then jiwoon made it better - I'm not used to seeing him smile at her so much

Same with Ahjussi - he laughed with her!!! SO ADORBS. Seo Woo was adorable this ep as well with his concern and his uniform wearing hahaha

I'm really curious about the dude the dad is looking for though - I hope it gets revealed soon how this all links together cause who knows - maybe Ha Won is a missing grandchild and one of them isn't - or perhaps maybe Ahjussi really is a grandparent - Young Ja gives me a creepy vibe so idk what relationship she has with Ahjussi :S

I'm glad Ha Won and Hye Ji are still talking though. I really hope they can be friends and I'm glad Ha Won isn't teh type to let misunderstandings continue happening.

Maybe we'll finally know what went on at the vacation house or possibly to HY's brother

I'm also pissy at Hawon's family - like she isn't the reason for any of your problems, they're just using her as a scapegoat and it's just SO annoying. Geezus christ the entire family needs to wake up

Thoughts on Ep 8:

Wow first - stepmom WTH? I'm gonna laugh in anger if this dude really isn't even Hawon's dad. Seriously, has anyone done a DNA test on this crap at all before going around and concluding stuff? Ugh I already see it coming - "dad" has some debts, and now will mooch off his supposed daughter who doesn't even know about him

I am riding on the drama to give me some sweet karmic justice towards stepmom and stepsister soon. It also made me sad when they replayed a flashback of Hawon's dad and mum from way back when - they seemed so happy D: even if the wife did cheat, that's no reason to hate the daughter to the point where you won't even let her come back. He's so dense - I say install a security camera inside your own home to see what really goes on there.

I was slowly liking the idea of Jayoung and Seowoo becoming friends at first until she got back into fan mode and told him not to like anyone. SERIOUSLY. I really hope that if perhaps she finds out that Seowoo is interested in Hawon, she won't go try and do some type of revenge or petty thing to get back at Hawon :/ Seowoo's lyrics were so sweet though - gah he's always so nice to her and worried for her.

AHJUSSI IN THIS EP THOUGH OMG LOL. The drunk scene was hilarious. I loved seeing all of them drunk (but of course HM and HJ didn't drink enough or any to get drunk). I was dying when he barfed on Seowoo and Jayoung and went into auto - secretary mode in his sleep. I loved seeing Hawon drunk too - seemed like everyone enjoyed that scene enough to gather around. Even though the drunk scene near the end was a litttttttleee cringey to me, I really liked how they all spent time together. Sure, it wasn't how Hawon had imagined it, but I kept awwing when I saw they were all wearing the jackets and enjoying random games with one another. It was so cute. I saw you mutter I love you to Jiwoon, Hyun min. I SAW THAT. My ship for Jiwoon and Hawon is starting to sail faster too - I'm so glad he's not as cold as he was in teh first few eps. He looks much better smiling and I appreciate he did spend time with her - horseback riding bonding time was adorable. I also ship them because they look much more relaxed with each other in that they can just talk about each other's personal lives like it's not a huge deal. It doesn't seem like they've opened up to many other people so I'm glad they have each other to rely on since they have that common bond.

And I think this ep makes me finally understand Hye Ji a bit more. We finally saw traces of their childhood history so I hope the show keeps that going cause we're still missing a lot. Hye Ji and HM as kids were so cute, and I can understand why she's so stuck in the past. He obviously does care about her - I was happy to see him fish her out of the pool and tend to what he knows would be a leg cramp. I saw him flutter his eyes close and tighten his hand when they kissed too - even if it was for a second, I just feel like that confirms these two are set to sail. I bet it's something to do surrounding her brother's death though - or perhaps he grew cold when he was shipped off to the US by himself?

I'm totally not interested in the battle for the successfor position though. I assume we only have 16 eps in this drama (correct me if I'm wrong) so I'd rather not the last half of this drama be focused about missing sons, inheritance battles, or money issues. This isn't a major deal, but Chairmin's wife - I really wish they would use a more flattering lipstick color on her. I hate to sound off on her looks, but I can't help but just stare at her lips whenever she has scenes. I am interested in ahjussi more now that he has a mother in the mix.

And hip hip hooray for getting a ton of kisses this ep - quite interested to see how the after effect of drunk kisses play out in the next ep.

idk if I want to watch these next eps - Hyeji liking Hyun Min is one thing but then "accepting" Jiwoon even though she feels no love towards him as a man cause she can't get Hyun Min is low... (this is assuming Jiwoon does like Hye Ji - if they're both in on a plan to anger Hyun Min, fineeee I guess? :S but mehhhhhhhhhhh X___X)

and I saw the ep 10 preview too so I really hope I don't have to wait till the last 2 eps to get happy moments between my ships :/

which ship do you mean? isit JW & HW?

Some korean friend told me that the character of KHM will suffer the most in this drama. The writer should not have given us those moments EHW - KHM :(

I do hope KHM not end with HJ (although the novel is like that). but idrm what will happen with Hye Ji, i'll just enjoy the drama lol

yessssssss.

lowkey also want more body guard x HW Moments

"Cinderella and Four Knights" exclusive BTS by iqiyi

The kiss scene between JW & HW  :chu:

LOL we still had 6 eps left dear, things may change during the last eps   :hurr:

True but that's what I'm worrying about - that we ONLY have 6 eps to clear up all these loose ends X___X I'd rather not everything happy be crammed into the last ep or two D:

She was annoying to me too tbh

She was so humble and independent before but now... not as much

She tries too hard to play those games with Jiwon to see if he likes her and it's a little irritating and attention sicking, I get that she's in love but idk, she just tries really hard to turn Jiwon into something he isn't now

I was particularly annoyed when she was upset because Jiwon didn't buy her a meal because she was injured, it just sounded really spoiled to me

I agree with that

I didn't see her point really - and did she have to mess with him several times to make sure? Like geezus, Jiwoon's not exactly the most outwardly sentimental person in the first place. I was kinda pissy when she mentioned he didn't buy her a meal (if only she knew...)

I still love her to bits, but I really miss her fierce personality in the first few eps. She's kinda dimmed considerably since then but at the same time she's so cute and endearing I can't hep but love her

Park So Dam is SO gorgeous though omg she's my new girl crush
