All the girls are gorgeous and there's definitely no visual hole BUT if you had to choose a visual line with korean beauty standards who'd you choose? Who do you think koreans see as the visual line in Red Velvet? My choice: Based on korean's standard of beauty, in my opinion I think this is Red Velvet's visual line: Reasons: 1. Irene's is the official visual, no one can deny she's a goddess. 2. Yeri gives me Yoona vibes sometimes as well as Naeun's vibes, she's stunning for her age. 3. Joy gives me Sulli/Suzy/KimYoojung vibes all in one. Despite knetz critiques of her weight I've never seen any of them actually criticizing her features. Even though Seulgi's looks are one of my favorites as she's my 2nd bias I tried to be as less biased as possible and I don't think she fits korean beauty standards as she has monolids. I think Joy is more on the female side of the stan attractors while Seulgi is the male one, because I've seen so many fanboys that are just so attracted by Seulgi. Edit: But all SM fans know by now that SM invests in diversity. All of their visuals are singular and there will be at least ONE visual people will like.
