am i the only one suddenly noticing more korean comments on youtube, these days?

like, I was looking at the lovelyz ah-choo comments on 1thek and literally all the comments are in korean. I've noticed this in some other korean artist videos too. i'm just wondering if they're starting to like youtube more than that naver video website ect.

Depends on the video though, some Idols that have less recognition internationally but tons in Korea, their videos are filled with Korean comments, whereas idols popular with I-fans tend to have comments in English.

Yeah I think it's mostly the ones with less international attention, where the comments in English don't drown out the Korean ones.

maybe they are using youtube since people always use youtube views to talk about success. no one gives a shit about naver.

And... there are a lot of lovelyz fan video made by k-lovelinus compare to i-lvlns on youtube. Idk about other groups. I dont really see k-inspirit comments under infinite videos

I noticed since months ago, but when I go to videos of older groups there's barely any korean comment. I think maybe for new groups who are popular in Korea, they receive a lot of korean comments on Youtube. or for singers who are very popular with koreans. I've seen many korean comments on IU video, and TWICE videos as well, probably for other groups too it's like this! I remember seeing so many on Apink videos too.

Mostly it seems to happen on gg's videos rather than bg's? Bcs gg is more publicly liked there I guess, so the one who comments may be just casual fans
