Do you think HyunA will be one of the main soloist in Korea?

reasons to why she'll be a top upcoming soloist in the future (as of top notch level SOLO.. not just popular icon as she is currently)

1) She's very young (23)

2) She's pretty,charming and has a great personality

3) She's one of the most popular kpop idols and always gets top articles about her no matter what she does.. even her instagram posts!

4) Way more attractive than new generation idols and almost as young as them! and bish has succeeded so much already.. when will your faves?

5) One of the most popular idols on SNS... a lot of followers,feedbacks.. and her youtube views are amazing too... her recent mv was released 5 months ago and has 30M already... it'll probably end up with 50m in the 1st year anniversary~

We already know she has hits and decent releases as well... but she never really failed.. always gets year ends and a lot of sns power~

her status currently is just REALLY POPULAR... not a chart topper or loved artist

That's why she needs to solidify herself with a good comeback.. with a good music that will make her solid...and she'll i am almost 100% certain put a lot of effort in her solo and work~ (unlike lackluster tracks she has had)

If she picks the right track and production.. THEN BOOM ~! (just hope she doesn't resort to boring ass ballads just to secure chart topping.. hopefully she brings something new, fresh and unique production which people will love and appreciate)

Even if 4minute disbands.. she'll continue as solo.. shes young, popular and she loves music(this situation is like lee hyori -finkl)

Mark my words.. in the near future.. if hyuna does it right.. she'll be one of the most popular and leading solo's in the near future~!

Yes definitely. She just need better songs. Something more her style. Something more classic-sexy and stop with the twerk thing

i agree

tbh she also prefers meaningful and unique songs more.. her written and fave songs are all slow tempo ones....or really classy ones

she doesn't really like her own title track music :P

also all tbh... no one is as hot as hyuna sadly... even though they're not far from the same age..

She already dominated the charts with Bubble Pop and Change. Koreans are very picky with what they like. yori also had a few hits and that's it but she's still an icon. Also you can't compete with themboring ballads and Taeyeon and IU have that on lock.

She can naturally become a chart topper and experience with more music genres in the future.. she might find stuff that suit her just as much as those sexy songs

like lee hyori did... she topped charts no matter how the song was....

and hyuna(23) vs lee hyori (23) is a huge difference... hyuna achieved so many at such a little age... she can do wonders in the future if she makes the right choices and decisions

First is switching the company

I think that would be very difficult in the Korea music scene. They are very close with their taste and don't embrace the change and evolution.

As long as she's happy and making bank.

When i think of Hyuna, TM - Troublemaker is the song that fits her image perfectly, for me

Since Cube's songs lately have been a little.. disappointing, i hope they don't fucked up TM :/

Hyuna has been doing sexy concept since she was like 15, i don't see another groups trying to push sexiness to young girls as much JYP did for Hyuna (Tzuyu is like the closest and it's not even that sexy)

Yeah~ troublemaker is a tone/song that everyone can love! sexy and comfortable in all ways... she needs that kind of song tbh

IKR.... roll deep was shit... the trailer of hyunas cb had 6m views and roll deep topped charts in first hours.. but it fell so fast because everyone was curious in first hours, but then once people found out it sucked it went down on charts so easily lol same with red(even though i enjoyed both especially red...)

JYP  :imstupid: i'm still guilty at watching those irony era(wg) fancams of hyuna... but it was the time when she was about same age as me so  :derp:

I think realistically Taeyeon is shaping up to be an it soloist, along with IU.

I think Hyuna's presence as a solo act is overrated tbh (Her solo releases have been in a steady decline in terms of catchability by the public and adding to her repertoire as a soloist), but that is just my personal opinion.

Taeyeon & IU take the safe and easy way tbh.. their songs are just way too generatic and public taste based songs/products.. thats why they're loved (well all of their scandals and attitude issues ASIDE) they are totally LOVED

hyuna has 0 scandals, but she still has a lot of hate for no reasons... usually love-hate relationship with Korea's general public

IMO hyuna would do amazingly in every aspect if she released a song that was actually good... roll deep sucked (still popular though as well as red)

she can easily bring out a song and with her name hype she can manage to make it big if its good

She's been successful in the past as a soloist. Will she continue to be successful? Who knows. I feel like Cube is leaning too into sexy with her recent concepts and neglecting her cute side, which I think people like.

I also think in general it's currently hard to be a soloist in k-pop. Teams can do group personality promotions when they're not promoting songs. And fans really respond to that.

Easy and safe way? LMAO. More like it's because they actually have talent. Don't get me wrong, I love Hyuna and her songs are my kind of jam, but she isn't exactly talented. Can't sing, can't rap, and her dancing is mediocre. She merely focus on her sexy concept and image, which is why people bash on her. Whereas for IU and Taeyeon, they're both very talented with great visual too. There really isn't anything to hate.

Please stop mixing talent with "singing" please

Just because Taeyeon & IU can sing "decently" doesn't mean they're more "talented" than hyuna

Hyuna can rap and dance well enough.... besides iu and taeyeon arent much big of singers either... they're both okay-good singers/vocalists if we look at it objectively and dont overrate lmao

plus hyuna writes her own lyrics (most of her b-sides are self-written)

hyuna has superior visuals than those two (they're "okay" in visual department) and a good age...

well anyway i wont jump at conclusions yet.. we'll see how it turns out in the future..
