Do you tend to be nicer to people in your fandom(s) than those who aren't?

I think i'm nice overall to people, but people that are in my fandoms i think i'm more willing to be nicer, answer questions for them.I'm more hesitant to call them a retard or have an argument with them than someone who is a part of another fandom.

I'm nice whith everyone and I talk the same way expect when they are rude to me or they bash. Fandoms are a matter of common preferences and of course you will talk more with them but that doesn't mean you have to talk bad to others.

Mmm I think you've pretty much described me bang-on. I'm pretty nice to everyone out in Kpop forums unless my buttons have been pushed too far (rarely happens these days though). But I do find myself tending to be more lenient w/ people who are in my own fandom and less likely to antagonize them when they've done something that normally would make me feel pretty annoyed/repulsed... I turn more of a "blind eye" when it's people of my own fandom doing it, hope that they won't do similar things again and bring shame upon the fandom (lol exaggerating but still), ignore the situation, and interact with them as if nothing has happened :S I wouldn't be that lenient w/ them if they did something personally to target me though (but I can't remember that ever happening w/in the time I've been an ELF so...)

Fandoms doesn't make people more or less nice: there are many annoying people in my fandom and many nice people in other fandoms, so I try to be nice with anyone who is nice.

Apart from this, it's obvious that I have more conversation topics in common with people from my fandom (if we are talking about kpop).
