Hi there laugh.png Could some one please help me?

I've made a sig with gifs, but everytime I pay it back, it stops the first gif in order to play the next one rlytearpls.png

Help please~

Go to the timeline and make sure your gifs are all in different levels like this

and not like this

Also don't forget to adjust that little tab (see pic below) so all of them are the same length when playing

Hope that helps ohbi.png

I have a problem with making gifs. My video is more than 2 hours long so i cant pinpoint exactly where i want to cut my video and the closest area it can get is more than 500 frames which is the limit....is there any other way i can make a gif?

I always use KMPlayer to extract the frames I want from the video and then import them into ps

I'm not sure what that is but i just looked it up, is this it? https://kmplayer.en.softonic.com/mac/download

Yes! Altough I use it for windows. It's basically a video player that has many other options like getting continuous screencaps from any part of any video you want.

Here's a tutorial that may be helpful, imo it's really easy to use.

does anyone know what font this is?

tumblr_okpx7t4CIf1saw0u3o1_500.png

it doesn't have to be exact but as close as possible (similar looking font with white outline), i see it used quite often so thought it might be common

I don't know what the font is but you can add that outline to any font using the stroke option in the layer style panel, which I think it's what they did in this case

Some fonts that are somewhat similar:

Bonoco

Brush Hand New

Budidaya

Excelsior Comics

Olivier

One Direction

Untuk Ubu

I have a question, how many maximum frame number are there in a dp gif?

I don't think there's a limit, or at least, I never had an issue with the number of frames.

As long as it's under 100kb it should work, although of course the less frames you have the easier it is to keep it under the right size.

Every time I do some dp request the quality gets terrible when i converted into 100kb, i think there's a limited frame numbers per KB.

Are you using photoshop or other program? If you use it I can give you a more detailed guide of the steps I follow if you're interested.

Sorry for my messy explanation ahead ^^

When I make them I want to ideally stay around 16 frames, that works the best for me because I can keep good quality while the movement in the gif is still smooth. The more frames you have the heavier the gif is and 100kb is a really small size. So, if you have to squish a heavy/big gif into that it will reduce the "heaviness" from somewhere (it can be the colors, the quality, etc.). It not that there's a limit per se it's just that it has to fit a size that's too small.

If you make a gif that's 200kb, for example, and you have to then adjust it to under 100kb of course it will look bad because 100kb of valuable info from the gif need to go or otherwise it won't fit.

I wouldn't call it a limit, it would be more of a recommended number of frames you want to stay under if you're interested in keeping the quality.

I'm using photoshop, but i think it's really mandate to reduce the frames of the gifs for dp's. cause apparently all of the request that we've been recieving in the request thread contains alot of frames, so i guess we'll have to adjust on how to manipulate.

thanks, already got it. probably i should make it like 16-20 frames per dp's.

oh yeah, I take out every other frame almost always because working with 30-40 frames for a dp is not going to end good. Sometimes after I do that I remove more after that (like every 3-4-5 frames). Most of the time they still look like the original but you need to adjust the speed so that doesn't look too fast now that you have half of the initial frames. On average the size of my gifs before saving is around 120kb (it can be more, it can be less). From there it's a lot easier to save it under 100kb playing around with the amount of colors and the losy without showing a significant drop in the quality.

And even doing all of this sometimes it's inevitable to section the gif and make two dp instead of one that's jumpy or has low quality.

Hi! Does anyone know where i could find, idk, textures? or shapes like these for photoshop?

I always see these little squiggles and stuff in some designs but never could find any

(like the circles and lightening bolts)

rQyAk92.jpg

0bsDooW.jpg

Some are easy to make them yourself but Twilightmoon has a bunch of shapes like those too.

Some examples 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

If you click on Edit & Download you can remove the elements you don't need and get the png file without the background, then you can crop the part you want and even turn it into a brush if you want.

does anyone know how to do typography like these two

the nexa rust part

nexa-rust-script_fp-950x475.png

the 53.

mastadoni_fp-950x475.png

i never can get the gap inbetween like the 1st one

and i usually just make a bunch of text layers to acheive the 2nd one but it doesn't look as nice ;o;

There's multiple ways to make the first one but what I'd do is:

1. Type your text.

2. Duplicate layer and change the color to whatever, just make it distinguishable.

3. Duplicate again and change color to the color you want your shadow to be.

4. Play around with the positioning of the layers until it looks good to you.

5. Select the letters in step's 2 layer: click wherever outside the text with the magic wand, right click the selected area, then select inverse. You should have that text outlined now.

6. Click on the shadow layer and delete the selection you had.

This is what I ended up with

frr2lkH.png

For the second I'd download an action or a text effect instead of doing it myself because that's a lot of tedious repetition and I'm lazy like that. This tutorial seemed nice, is this what you already did?
