The Super Bowl performance shows you can still put on a good show while lip-syncing

Coldplay's Chris Martin was the only one singing live but most people didn't like his performance

Meanwhile Bey and Bruno still put on a great show

I think K-pop should step it up in that manner. I thought EXO was a step in the right direction, their performances were very theatric and more special than just walking around the stage lip-syncing, which is why I don't understand why they got the most hate for lip-syncing. There are lots of other groups that aren't even up to EXO's performance level and lip-sync. They should step it up a bit.

I enjoyed Coldplay's performances very much and the stage itself was beautiful not to mention whatever else he had going on with his performances. Honestly most people said that he was overshadowed but that's not what happened. What happened is that most people were looking for Beyonce and they didn't care much about whoever else was on that stage.

lipsynching has its situations when it is forgivable to use it, but groups lipsynching their performances for an extended amount of time is a bit less valuable, because, like, fans " like " live performances. I honestly don't mind singers lipsynching upbeat and very dance-y performances that might get you out of breath, but synchronising it when you're singing a ballad or when you aren't moving much is unexcusable.

I agree, I didn't think his performance was too bad even though it was hard to hear him, but I'm not a Coldplay fan so of course I'm not going to be very interested.
